🚴‍♂️ Route Announcement 🚴‍♂️

Get ready for stage two of The Tour Of Britain! Top cyclists from around the world will face a challenging course through the Tees Valley and North York Moors, ending with an exciting finish in Redcar.

The race will pass through East Cleveland and feature two bonus sprints up Saltburn bank.

Tomorrow is our Circus Family Fun Day and it's also day 3 of the Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival sponsored by Sky Bet & raising money for the Matt Hampson Foundation.

We've got lots of free entertainment for kids including circus skills big top & kids entertainers, Festival Freddie, bouncy castles, face painters and playground.

The Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Men is coming to Tees Valley! 🚲🤩

Our area will play host to Stage 2 of the race on September 4 with riders racing from Darlington to Redcar, taking in the stunning North York Moors and coast on the way. 🚵‍♀️

The Tour is the latest in a partnership between TVCA and British Cycling to promote Tees Valley as a fantastic location for cycling 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

It follows the successful hosting of the British National Road Championships in Saltburn and Darlington in June and we can’t wait to welcome the some of the world’s best riders!

More details including the stage two route map, detailed stage timings, and competing teams will be announcing in the coming weeks so stay tuned 👀

It's a full day pop tributes, funfair, inflatables, trampolines, donkey rides, kids entertainment, ice cream, prize stalls, football shoot out and Roary the Lion from the MFC Foundation.
