Victoria is one of the loveliest people you can ever meet. She is kind and beautiful inside and out. Her talent is beyond anything I've ever seen before and when I saw my flowers on the morning of our wedding I just cried because they were absolutely stunning. Victoria had captured perfectly what I wanted and the colours were just amazing.
Victoria had done the most beautiful flowers for my daughters wedding last year and meeting Victoria again when planning our wedding was like meeting an old friend. She just 'got it' when I explained what I wanted. Her enthusiasm for what she does is infectious.
Everyone commented on how beautiful our flowers were and they truly were. They brought something so special to our day and I can never thank Victoria enough.

Guys, I'm sorry about the silence! I've broken all promises about being more active and visible on my social 🫣😔
Even though the grids lacked any content, behind the scenes I've been busy meeting my very wonderful couples of this year, and planning their beautiful days, ensuring every detail is covered and planned! This week I am back working with my girl and next week kicks off VI wedding season with not one, but TWO beautiful weddings. I am super excited to have a workshop full of blooms and create some utterly beautiful designs!

• M A K I N G A M E M O R Y •
One of things I talk to my couples about is reminders of their day, through their choices! Call me sentimental, but to have a memory, a smell, even an experience that you share together, and can include others in and something that you can tell generations to come, I just find it not only romantic but also special and what this thing called life is all about!
The image above is of me and my husband on our wedding day, followed by the second image which I took yesterday on my run in the fields I am lucky to overlook from my home. Taking a run and losing my memory in our day, or taking a family walk and talking to my children about Rapeseed and then recognising the spring month through this plant, makes this image to me truly special and most certainly unforgettable. In a couple of weeks I will celebrate 8 years married, and when taking this picture all those years ago I didn’t realise how significant the Rapeseed would play in not only my memories, but the memories and stories to my children.
So from a sentimental, romantic, think about your choices and how they will tell a story in years to come 🤍

There are so many elements to my job that I love, but creating beautiful impactful designs is my absolute favourite. Creating a story through greens and flowers, and being allowed to change a space, through designs which are unforgettable is truly an honour.
I loved this summer floral chandelier which we kept just seasonal greens. Creating depth, texture and utter drama! I won't lie they will take a healthy amount of your budget, as the time, mechanics and ingredients which goes into creating and building something so WOW for you and your guests - they do cost unfortunately - but are so worth it. What do you think?

Dear Ivy and Connie,
I want you both to love and embrace this crazy thing we call life. Speaking your minds, however, remaining respectful. Know your value and worth. I hope you will experience and find love, but most importantly I hope you find it with yourself. Be kind and compassionate to others always. Stand for integrity and do what is right. Be bold. Work hard. Break barriers. Cheer the underdog, even if it's unpopular. Know that you will stumble, but know that you will get back up and learn from those setbacks and most of all know that you have control over your actions and reactions in this life.
And my final words to you both is have hope. No matter what life throws at you, if you have enough love in your hearts then you will always remain hopeful.
I am so lucky that my girls and I are surrounded by strong, courageous and inspiring women from my mum, aunties, cousins, friends, family amongst an army of strong mentors and women that support and encourage me. A quote I love which has been said to me throughout my life.... "You are so much stronger than you think. Don't set limits for yourself. Break down the barriers. Follow the rainbow"

I'm so sorry for the radio silence. The last 8 weeks we have had illness after illness, with Connie just recovering from Scarlet Fever and me literally typing this in my PJs after a 3 day stint in bed with a horrid flu bug!
I just wanted to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to my wonderful couples who have taken me on their love stories this year and for trusting me on one of your biggest life events. To my fabulous florist community, who's friendships I've truly treasured this year! To my wonderful team who's made up of some amazing talented ladies, my darling husband and my bloody amazing family! And finally a thank you to you! For sticking with me this year! The grid has been quiet and sparse these last few months - but thank you for continuing to be here.
Its easy to get lost in the craziness of life and I'm so guilty of this! I look back on 2022 and feel grateful. No resolutions for 2023 from me, but I'm motivated to catch my dreams!

I'm back!! What a busy couple of months I've had. With beautiful weddings, house renovation part 1 nearly complete, half term and the seasonal colds circulating in the house, it's not left much time for anything else 😩
But with two out of three back to school and our last two weddings of the year due Mid November and early December I'm looking forward to a slow down and some calm!
I also wanted to pop on and talk about next year's availability. Over the past two years, like most suppliers in the business it's been extremely busy and relentless time from the impact of COVID. Having had time to step back and reflect, it's helped me understand and clarify that VI is not about volume, but most definitely about quality, ensuring I am creating a personalised service, along with impactful designs which gives my couple and their guests an experience and expression to who they are! With this all in mind, I am scaling back next year, therefore taking a limited number of bookings. With me already nearly at capacity, I have limited spaces available and hoping to close next year calendar in the coming months. If you have been thinking you'd love to take me on your journey, then PLEASE reach out and say hello, as I honestly hate saying no. I have popped a link in my bio.

• R E F L E C T I O N • Morning my lovelies, how was your Christmas? We have had the most amazing time, despite this horrid cold I just can't seem to shake off! However having some downtime these last few days, has given me the space for some reflection. Reflection on this journey I took nearly a year ago, the friendships I have made, the mistakes in which I have made, but the achievement's and growth of a business which started as just an idea and something in all honesty I didn't know I could do! Over the next few days, I want to share pieces of that journey through my wall and stories (appreciate these will be more emotional for me) So I am kicking it off with where it all really gor real for me, back in May with the most talented, amazingly wonderful lady I have met. In life you just meet people you like, respect and click with and Briggite @mossandstonefloraldesign is one of those people! Spending two fabulous days, changed me, my thinking and Victoria Ivy. Some of my favourite creations were created in Brigitte workshops and looking forward to been reunited in April for more creations. Have a wonderful day 🌿
