well 2023, what can i say…you certainly pushed me to my limits physically & emotionally! after the worst start to year we could have ever imagined you slowly got better as it took me a while to find my feet again but moving into a new studio and kicking off wedding season back in april with a bright & wonderful wedding and bride you gave me the oooomph i needed to get going again
we had a lots of big moments this year ~ most ever stairs at a venue, hottest day ever (in a marquee too 🥵), wettest day ever (obvs this was also in a marquee), least amount of sleep i’ve probably ever had this past month (parents don’t come at me i don’t have a baby) most amount of wreaths ever made, biggest weddings we’ve ever done but i think i can proudly say we smashed it all! I wouldn’t have been able to do it any of it with my wonderful family & friends ~ you know who you are 😘
it’s been a great year for freelancing too, lots of fun special memorable times with kim, jess, sian, trina, steph & shonagh 🩷
i’m looking forward to a quiet & much needed couple of months before we kick the season off again in march & so excited to see what 2024 will bring
thank you so much to all my wonderful couples and customers this year ~ for giving me such creative freedom on your super special days, your ever lasting patience with my horrendous administrative skills (altho let’s be honest it’s not really a skill 🥴 but i hope where i lacked that i made up for it with flowers 🤪) and just all of you you have helped me get through this year, checked in on me, visited me and most of all, those you brought me food, you really do know the way to my heart 🥰
i read something years ago about customers becoming friends & i really do count myself so lucky that so many of my brides, grooms & customers have become such good friends and still support me & keep in touch every year in fact one of them called me a beautiful cloud of chaos the ot
