Wow! What an incredible couple of days we have had in Lake Como for our lovely couple Lauren & Josh’s wedding. We have been working with Lauren and Josh for over a year on planning their perfect wedding celebrations. Although the weather definitely kept us on our toes yesterday (a planner will always have a Plan A, B, C and so on!) they had the most amazing day. Thank you so much to such a wonderful group of suppliers yesterday and thank you to Lauren and Josh - the new Mr and Mrs Cullen for trusting us with your wedding celebrations 🤍

▫️B O U Q U E T▫️
Sarah had a really classic and elegant bouquet made up of just white reflex roses for her wedding created by Verdure Floral Design, hand-tied and finished off with a white satin ribbon. The bridesmaids had exactly the same design bouquet just in a smaller version and we used the same reflex roses into all of the other floral pieces to finish the styling.

Our beautiful bride Charlotte looked incredible in her Millanova dress for her wedding in December. It suited the style of the wedding perfectly and the dramatic, full train of the dress looked gorgeous walking down the aisle in church. The train had a removable part which meant Charlotte could keep the dress on in the evening and enjoy the party!

If you have confetti at your wedding, traditionally this would be done at the end of the ceremony or during your drinks reception for a gorgeous photograph. Amy and Oliver had theirs as they were leaving their wedding ceremony at the beautiful Isola del Garda.

▫️O M B R E▫️
We love this aerial shot of our clients dining table for their wedding at Villa Astor. We had an ombré aisle and floral arch and then wanted to bring the same style into the dining table. It worked perfectly as it had the most beautiful natural gradient with blue, yellow, peach, orange and pink florals lining the middle of the table. We chose to use a gold mirrored table which reflected the florals and candlelight beautifully.

We have been working with Sarah and Tom on their wedding for over a year and originally the plan was to have the wedding in a venue in December. But they changed their mind to a Spring wedding at Sarah’s family home and they had a gorgeous marquee celebration for 150 of their friends and family. We were so excited to see the previews arrive this morning from the wonderful Tobiah Tayo. It was such a beautiful day from start to finish and we can’t wait to share more from their day! Charlotte and Seb’s gorgeous wedding took place at her family home in Cheshire. Whilst the marquee looked incredible during the day and late winter sun, it looked just as amazing in the evening. The midnight blue lining worked wonderfully with the chandeliers and lighting installation from Lightech. A beautiful floral gyposphila cloud with disco balls was over the top table and was lit up perfectly.

Agnes and Logan celebrated their wedding ceremony at the beautiful Villa Balbiano in Lake Como. They live in the USA and so their family and friends travelled all across the world to celebrate with them. The weather was perfect and they had a stunning lakeside ceremony with their wedding dinner taking place in a marquee afterwards.

Amy and Oliver celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Isola del Garda in Lake Garda. They had their wedding reception in the permanent marquee on site and we decided to have this gorgeous white floral deconstructed arch either side of the marquee entrance to greet the guests as they sat down for dinner.

One of the main features of a marquee is that it can be designed in any way you’d like. Charlotte and Seb had their wedding marquee at Charlotte’s family home and there were so many different areas for guests to enjoy. The main marquee was comprised of the drinks reception and bar section and then the dining marquee. Once all guests were seated for the wedding breakfast, Charlotte and Seb made their grand entrance!

▫️A R C H W A Y▫️
I love a good statement archway, whether it’s a full arch or a deconstructed one it definitely adds the wow factor to an entrance or exit, especially to a church. Ashleigh and Tom had this gorgeous full green and white archway created by the amazing Dreamboats and Carousels for their wedding last May. They had their ceremony in a local church and their reception at Middleton Lodge. Swipe to see the moment the bride and groom emerged from their ceremony!

A gorgeous aerial view of Rosh and Zena’s dining table for their wedding at Villa Astor. They had 50 of their family and friends to celebrate their 3 day wedding weekend in gorgeous Sorrento. The mirrored table reflected the light from the candles beautifully and the side terrace at Villa Astor was the perfect sunset location for their dinner.

Two weeks ago we had a wedding at the lovely Cherry Barn in Rye for our couple Chantal and William. We have had some of the previews back by Georgina Piper and love this image of Chantal just before her ceremony at the Town Hall. They were so lucky with the weather for a March wedding and we can’t wait to share more images from this wonderful day with you.

▫️F I R S T D A N C E▫️
Amy & Oliver’s first dance performed by the amazing The Function Band took place in the permanent marquee at Isola del Garda. There was a white dancefloor with their monogram on and floor sparklers were added around the dancefloor to really create a wow factor moment. The party all took place under a large gorgeous floral display and extra large disco ball!

Charlotte and Seb’s beautiful top table was full of white roses, hydrangeas and orchids. Over their top table was a full cloud of gypsophila with silver and gold disco balls mixed in. The table was finished with midnight blue taper candles and tableware with touches of gold.

Although we are based in the UK we plan lots of weddings outside of the UK, especially in Italy. This was Rosh and Zena’s wedding at the beautiful Villa Astor in Sorrento. The grounds are perfect for a wedding as there are so many different areas to use for ceremony, drinks, dinner and party.

It’s been a while since I’ve shown my face on Instagram and with the new followers we’ve been getting I thought it was about time! On a wedding day we are usually busy running around and setting things up but Rachel managed to capture this shot of me at Charlotte and Seb’s wedding last December. I was with the bridesmaids and the mother of the bride waiting for Charlotte to arrive to the church ceremony. At a ceremony we are there to help with the dress, hold the bouquets and arrange the train just before the bride walks down the aisle and ensure everything starts perfectly.

We plan and work on a lot of marquee weddings that often take place either in the grounds of a venue or in the garden of a family home. This was Charlotte and Seb’s wedding which took place in December at Charlotte’s parents house. We worked with them and the marquee company on designing the best layout and location for a large marquee for 200 guests with various sections for different parts of the day. The dining marquee had navy blue lining with gorgeous white floral displays on the dining tables - we chose to go with 3 different designs for centrepieces with different height candles.

Our first wedding of 2024 was Latifa and Armand’s beautiful ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall followed by an intimate dinner at Akub in Notting Hill. They chose to travel to some of their favourite spots around London for photographs before the ceremony and are planning a larger celebration later this year which we are so excited to work with them on.

When we create your moodboard and start working with a florist to create your floral displays it’s also important to start thinking about the other elements on the table. This would be most likely in the form of linen, tableware, glassware and candles. For Charlotte and Seb’s wedding, they had all-white florals but their marquee lining was midnight blue. We decided to stick with white linen and bring in tableware with touches of gold and use midnight blue taper candles.

The grounds at Villa Astor have so many gorgeous locations for your photographs on your wedding day. There are secret gardens and areas that can be used for the different elements of the wedding day including your ceremony, drinks reception, dinner and party. Rosh and Zena chose to have their ceremony, drinks and dinner outside as well as the start of the evening party before having the after party inside the Villa.

This top table was full of gorgeous florals which cascaded down each side. It created the perfect focal point in the wedding marquee as the rest of the guest tables were round tables made up of a mixture of tall and low displays.

▫️ L I G H T▫️
Charlotte and Seb chose to have their wedding in December, the week before Christmas and they were so lucky with the weather. They had the most beautiful winters day with a gorgeous sunset. The wedding reception took place in a large marquee in Charlotte’s family home which had the most gorgeous views over Cheshire so the evening light flooded in perfectly just in time for the guests to take their seats for dinner.

Rosh and Zena’s wedding took place at the beautiful Villa Astor in Sorrento. There are multiple places to hold your ceremony and dinner and originally we were only going to have the ceremony in this location and the dinner under a pergola in the gardens. However, a few weeks before the wedding we all decided this was a much better location for one long table as it was such a beautiful spot overlooking the sea. We therefore ensured all the logistics were correctly planned in order to change the space over from ceremony to dinner in the 2 hour drinks reception. The decision paid off as they also had an incredible sunset!

When having a wedding at one of the Lake locations or on the coast of Italy most of our clients choose to spend some part of their day on a boat. This can either be for the bride/groom entrance or for part of your drinks reception like Amy and Oliver did here for their wedding at Isola del Garda last summer. It definitely gives you some beautiful photographs!

Charlotte and Seb had 14 round tables and a long top table for their wedding a few weeks ago. They had 3 different table centrepieces including this gorgeous low design made up of white hydrangea, gypsophila, reflex roses and orchids. The table was finished off with midnight blue taper candles and tableware from Whitehouse.

Kathryn and Alex’s wedding took place at the end of November at Achnagairn Castle in the Scottish Highlands. Kathryn chose for her bridesmaids to all be in different burgundy style dresses - some a block colour and some with a floral pattern. It was a beautiful, dry but very cold day so they all had matching fur shawls which were perfect for a winter wedding!

Amy’s bouquet was made up of white roses and gypsophila and was in a loose, organic design. The bridesmaids had bouquets which were the same but in a smaller design and the buttonhole was a simple white rose.
