I love images on film and it’s becoming increasingly popular at weddings for both stills and video. It gives such a classic, nostalgic look and is great to have alongside digital images. When Tobiah Tayo posted some of these images from Sarah & Tom’s wedding today it reminded us of their gorgeous Spring wedding we planned for them back in April.

Charlotte and Seb’s winter wedding took place at Charlotte’s family home in Delamere, Cheshire. They had a gorgeous clearspan marquee which had different areas on different levels for their guests to enjoy. The florals were all-white flowers by the amazing Verdure and we chose elegant glassware, cutlery and charger plates to enhance the table decor.

▫️C O N F E T T I▫️
Levi and Jonathan celebrated their wedding at Scarlet Hall in Cheshire. We had three different plans for the ceremony with all varying weather situations. Luckily we were able to go with Plan A which was a fully outdoor ceremony on the lawn next to the house. When you have a planner they will always be checking about 10 different weather apps to come up with the best plan for the day!

Amy and Oliver had gorgeous white florals for their top table display which cascaded down the side creating a real focal point in the marquee. The tables had similar displays with white reflex roses, hydrangea and gypsophila. We love thinking about different ways the florals can work in different elements of your wedding day.

▫️N O V E M B E R▫️
How is it November already?! We have two gorgeous weddings this month which we are very excited for! Our first one is tomorrow - a wedding celebration for our lovely couple Latifa and Armand in London. We have been working with them for nearly a year - helping them with their legal ceremony at Chelsea Town Hall and first celebration back in January and then planning the big celebration with their friends tomorrow!

▫️H A L L O W E E N▫️
Happy Halloween! This was the ceremony decor from Sarah and Martin’s beautiful wedding that took place a few days before Halloween last year at Carbis Bay Hotel in Cornwall. Sarah and Martin used Autumn colours and seasonal flowers and foliage as well as a few small pumpkins to enhance the displays!

Looking back to one of our favourite Autumn weddings we have worked on for our lovely couple Georgie and Josh at the beautiful Ashridge House. They had gorgeous weather which meant they were able to have their drinks reception and photographs outside which is very lucky for an end of October wedding in the UK!

Zoe and James had a gorgeous display for their top table made up of green foliage, white, ivory and very soft blush flowers. They had Ester & Erika taper candles in neutral shades and floating candles interspersed throughout the display. The linen was a textured ivory linen which was much softer against the florals.

Sophie and Jordan had their wedding at the gorgeous Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. We plan weddings in many different types of venues - country houses, marquees, homes and hotels. Gleneagles has multiple different areas to use for your wedding depending on the size of your guest list as well as many areas inside and outside the hotel to use for photographs. We have another wedding there in a few weeks which we are really looking forward to going back for!

Lauren and Josh had two different designs for their table centrepieces for their wedding at Villa Pizzo. One was this beautiful tall glass candelabra with a halo of flowers around the base made up of roses, gypsophila and orchids.

We plan many weddings which take place at a family home and need different elements considering such as marquees, access, lighting and furniture. Charlotte and Seb chose to have their wedding ceremony at their local church and then the reception at Charlotte’s family home in Cheshire. With nearly 200 guests we needed a marquee which had different areas for different parts of the day as it was a Winter wedding and would be too cold to have the drinks reception outside. Luckily the weather was a perfect winters day so they were able to get some gorgeous photographs overlooking the Cheshire plains.

Lauren and Josh picked the beautiful Villa Pizzo for their wedding in Lake Como. Originally the ceremony was going to be on the Darsena but unfortunately the morning of the wedding was extremely wet. We followed the forecast really closely and it was important to Lauren and Josh to have their ceremony outside regardless of the weather so we made a decision to bring the ceremony closer to the villa and use one of the other terraces which meant the setup could be pushed to when we had a dry spell. It still looked so gorgeous with the lake behind it with the gorgeous white floral displays. Shows the importance of having multiple plans incase of weather!

▫️S C O T L A N D▫️
Last November Kathryn and Alex travelled from the USA to have their wedding at the beautiful Achnagairn Castle which is just outside of Inverness in Scotland. They stayed for 2 nights and we worked with them on planning a multi-day celebration consisting of a Rehearsal Dinner / Welcome Party held in the grounds and their wedding day on the Saturday which was a perfect winters day. They held their ceremony in the Ballroom which was filled with candlelight and burgundy and white florals.

Ashleigh and Tom had their wedding reception in the Fig House at Middleton Lodge. They stayed in the Manor House for two nights where they did a welcome dinner on the Friday and a drinks reception after their church ceremony before going into the Fig House for their dinner and evening reception on the Saturday. They had a gorgeous hanging floral canopy over their dining tables with individual vases of reflex roses in soft neutral shades running along the middle of the table with gorgeous taper candles to match.

We absolutely love weddings in Scotland and Gleneagles is such a gorgeous venue. Our couple Sophie and Jordan got married here at the end of August and we have another beautiful wedding here next month. Scotland has such great venues for all the different seasons of the year and for all different sizes of weddings.

Looking back to this gorgeous ceremony ceremony set up at Villa Astor in Sorrento last September. Rosh and Zena had around 50 of their closest friends and ceremony to join them at their 3 day celebration on the beautiful Amalfi Coast. We decided to hold the ceremony on the side terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples, their drinks reception in the gardens, their dinner back on the side terrace and their evening reception in the main villa therefore fully utilising all spaces and areas of this incredible venue.

Sarah and Tom held their wedding at Sarah’s family home on the Wirral. They had a ceremony in the local church and then drinks reception in one area of the garden and a marquee for dinner and dancing in another area of the garden. When having a wedding at home we always think about the best ways you can utilise the different spaces to work best for the wedding taking into consideration elements such as access, set up and the flow of guests.

We worked closely with our lovely couple Lauren and Josh to ensure the decor and styling of their wedding was perfect. We planned a large floral canopy over the dancefloor and Rattiflora created this incredible piece. It hung directly over a white dancefloor personalised with their monogram and looked gorgeous in the permanent marquee at Villa Pizzo in Lake Como.
