Imagine not being able to walk through the studio you’ve just spent a month building (minus 1 day because Mr FB requested Christmas day off 🙄🤣) because it was so jammed packed of gorgeous people coming to show their support…
That happened yesterday.
I was and am so incredibly overwhelmed and grateful for just how much love there was in that room! 🥹
2024 came with some of the highest highs for Flamingo Boulevard - it was honestly our best year ever but behind the scenes and personally for me, 2024 came with some of the lowest lows so throw in a huge shop move/reno to end an already really hard year, you bet it had me questioning what the hell I was doing but seeing that space yesterday filled with people and hearing all the incredible things everyone had to say cemented that I had done the right thing and truly made it all worth it.
I can’t put into words what a rollercoaster self employed/small business life can be so to every person that’s likes, comments, shares their bridal experience with us, DM’s love…you are the reason we keep doing it. And honestly, some of those DMs were the light on a horrible day in 2024 so thank you.
Now speech nearly over but can’t do a post like this without thanking my gang - there is a long list of amazing humans which helped with this move and without them it wouldn’t have been possible but huge shout out to my Dad for, well everything, my favourite gals/team and of course, everyone’s favourite bridal Husband, Mr FB - building shops, being dragged around buying trips, listening to my rants, picking me up when the tough days are too much and celebrating the highs with too many tequilas… Mr FB, I promise I won’t move again but I can’t promise I won’t be home late because I was having too much fun with a Bride and the appointment went over again 🤭
So from one extremely exhausted yet grateful gal who opened a shop with 15 dresses and now has this… thank you 💖
