Things are off to a busy start this year for us, with several events this weekend.

We have had our GT Tour Deck out on hire adding an extra sparkle to 35 years anniversary show! A big thanks to for their fantastic service when supplying us with the deck. The deck is also covered in specialist drape from .group to maintain a professional and clean finish. Thanks to everyone involved!

Merry Christmas from all of us at Mercia Events & Production! 🎄

Here are some of our favourite snaps from the Heritage Wood Illuminated Woodland Walk 2024.

We created the fantastic RGB light tunnel working alongside ColourTask who assisted in turning our vision into a reality, using Twinkly Pro products.

Prolight Concepts Group LEDJ 7T3 & 12T3 Spectra Par products allowed us to add a splash of colour throughout the 1 mile long walk. We have been using their Spectra Pars over the past 3 years in both DMX and stand alone modes.

Various products from Highlite Group featured across the site this year. We have enjoyed using their new Showgear Tree Mounting Brackets this year, which improved the installation and allowed us to quickly, easily and safely rig fixtures to the trees in the woodland.

Once again our stock of Martin Professional MH3 moving lights featured on the lake show on the floating pontoon, this year supplied by National Pontoon who were so easy to work with and allowed smooth installation of the lake show. Big shoutout to George Bratley who once again did a fantastic job at putting together the music mix down and programming the lake show.

We would also like to extend our thanks to JPSL Technical Services Ltd, Kes Power & Light LTD, Marten, Christmas Direct, our freelancer colleagues and everyone else involved, who have all supported us with various aspects of the project to allow us to yet again pull off a fantastic show!

We have also been out on the road with our disco packages over the summer season.

Here is an example of one of our setups at The Burton Rugby Football Club Ltd. in June for one of their presentation evenings with a disco to celebrate success.

We had the pleasure of supporting Branston Parish Council at the beginning of the month with their D-Day 80th Anniversary to mark an important moment in our history.

We are just catching our breath after a very busy few weeks of events!

A recent highlight for us was providing pyrotechnics, starcloth, lighting, pipe and drape & a circular projection screen for the annual Activities and Sports Award Shows at Sheffield Students' Union. We were once again privileged to work with Technical Services Committee Sheffield Students Union - TSC and Sheffield SU Nights Out & Events to bring these events to life.

We are excited to announce that we have been working behind the scenes to rebrand Illuminate Sound and Lighting as Mercia Events & Production Ltd. As our business continues to grow and develop alongside our sister company Mercia Wood Fired Pizzas, we decided that now would be a good time to streamline the brands. We want to thank Stacey at 6pence Print & Design for her help and support with this.

We will still continue to deliver the fantastic services and develop our business as before under our old name but, with a new name and brand going forward.

We have also been working on another exciting project over the past few months to allow us to sustain our business into the future. We still have a few final pieces of the puzzle to finish putting together but we cannot wait to announce this and share with you. As soon as the puzzle is complete you will all be the first to know.

For the meantime, sit tight. We have a really exciting season coming, up with some exciting new events and projects that we will be working on along the way. Stay tuned for more on this!

A fantastic evening yesterday at Mickleover Country Park Social Club for a big night of celebrations. Celebrating an 18th, 21st & 50th birthday alongside a 25th wedding anniversary! 🥳

We provided a full production package including DJ, disco, PA, lighting, TV screen for a photo reel and light up numbers. Here are some of our favourite snaps from the party.
