Su and Cliff's wedding will always be one of my most memorable ones. And one of the weddings I tell people when they ask me the go to question to ask a wedding planner - "what's the most whacky wedding or strange request you've had for a wedding?".

Well Su and Cliffs eccentric, yet luxurious style even spanned to the entrance hall table, which was dressed in the most gorgeous lace cloth, beautiful florals, white strawberries, candles and a bust.

When we plan weddings, the guest experience is always at the forefront of our minds. And part of that is considering the movement of guests throughout the day. How will their experience be transitioning from one part of the event to the next? We also consider their interruptions; being asked to sit for dinner mid conversation and drink, being asked to sit for speeches, being asked to gather around the dance floor for the first dance, being asked to stop dancing to watch the fireworks - these are all parts of a wedding day but the way in which you carefully plan the flow of these activities will have a big impact to your guests experience at your wedding.

My role as a creative wedding planner is to design the overall concept for my couples weddings; the big picture and the little details. I then work closely with each supplier, allowing them the flexibility to interpret the brief and put their own stamp on their work, whilst keeping it cohesive with the overall look and complimenting the other suppliers contributions.

I will always LOVE this set up; working with - and to bring this stunning cake display to life.

It was an absolute pleasure supporting Lucy, Nick and their families last weekend for, what was a truly epic wedding.

Lucy looked absolutely stunning in her gown with the most exquisite bespoke sequinned veil.

If I had enough energy to keep up with the fun, I’d do it all over again!

We are in full swing of wedding season. Busy putting the finishing touches to our spring weddings, right in the thick of planning our end of summer weddings and have the exciting job of commencing 2023 weddings.

I have always and will always be an advocate for responding to emails in a timely manner but the aftermath of the pandemic is still affecting our industry; so please be mindful that once again (and hopefully for the final year) suppliers ARE looking after you, they WILL ensure they plan and deliver your wedding BUT bear with them whilst they still have an unusually large workload.

The count down is on to my first wedding of the year and it’s back to a place and a family I know well. I had the pleasure of planning James' wedding back in 2019 and now it’s his sisters turn. It’s been a long time coming. We started planning straight after her brothers wedding, we’ve postponed due to the pandemic but it’s almost here! This is absolutely going to be a bittersweet start to my wedding’s this year as there are no more children in the family to get married ☹ and they are THE worlds nicest people. I’m going to be dancing with them and crying at the same time!

I absolutely love looking back at James and Sophie’s Garden inspired marquee though, an absolute classic. Can’t wait to catch up with them both in a few weeks’ time too!
