I was so proud of Isaac, George, Jacob and Noah at After School Club today. Our theme was Superheroes and whilst most children built a base for Spidey or a car for Batman (which is what I had planned for) the boys decided that WW1 Soldiers were their Superheroes. They created a battle field complete with trenches, no man’s land and poppies. The boys had obviously been intrigued by their Remembrance Day lessons today. I thought their build was heartwarming. POV: walking or crawling on LEGO/DUPLO really does hurt!
BUT when I saw this giant pit of bricks @legohouse I had to try and get a photo of me in the middle of it.
I won’t tell you what my photographer said when I checked the photo afterwards and there was a big grey baseplate spoiling the view. Needless to say he refused to go back in for take 2!
