Our weekend & school holiday workshops, birthday parties, primary & nursery school events are designed to provide children with an exciting and captivating experience that promote learning through play. Master Builders Club workshops follow a different theme each session and after setting the scene with a short story our Master Builders will complete a number of build challenges. At the end of the

session we present our Master Builders with a themed badge for them to keep and collect. Our workshops will inspire creativity, help develop friendships, strengthen fine motor skills and encourage problem solving all whilst having fun using LEGO® elements. 🐉 Here be Dragons…….

We were excited to be part of The Story Museum newest exhibition. Co curated by the amazing Cressida Cowell. The Museum space has been transformed into a world of mythical creatures.

🐲 Our workshop ‘A Dragons Tale’ encouraged young Dragon Slayers to consider what characteristics make ‘a dragon a dragon’. As always their creative minds produced some incredible designs.

🎪 We will be hosting our very popular DUPLO Playroom at Sonning Common Village Hall next Wednesday.

👷🏽👷🏻You can expect 1000’s of DUPLO bricks, animals, tracks, trains, transport and exciting accessories.

🐸 HOPS - Henley Outdoor Play Scheme

👷🏻‍♂️👷🏽We have had a fantastic day of brick building play with the children at HOPS today.

💕We love being part of this amazing holiday club. The Play Leaders, the activities, the organisation and the format is just fabulous. Children have the freedom to move around the school site choosing which activity they would like to participate in. The school field is filled with inflatables, water slides and obstacle courses along with laser tag, zorbing and nerf battles.

🎪Inside the children can choose from cookery, dancing, animal encounters, beauty, woodwork, crafting, sewing, LEGO with MBC and so much more.

🧱In the LEGO room we built ‘Our Perfect Place’ where the children particularly enjoyed our boxes of animals, food, greenery, boats, accessories and minifigures.

A wonderful day working with the young people at Autism Family Support Oxfordshire - AFSO building our ‘Perfect Place’

Beaches, slides, rock climbing, animals and good food all featured in many of the builds.

It was a pleasure to be part of this fantastic charity who provide invaluable care and support for families and young people with Autism.

🔵🟡⚫️🟢🔴 The Olympics starts on Friday with a ‘never seen before’ Opening Ceremony on water. Tune into the BBC at 18:30 tomorrow to see 10,000 athletes arrive in boats along the River Seine.

🏅We are celebrating this incredible sporting event with our Olympbricks Workshop at Reading Town Hall on Tuesday.

🌇Exploring the super exciting topic of Superstructures with Year 3 at The Heights Primary School.

🗼Our whole class workshop involves teamwork, problem solving and learning through play. We look at superstructures around the world, job roles within the construction industry, the future of superstructures and the importance of the design and base of a superstructure.

🙋🏻‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️Our KS1 and KS2 LEGO lessons provide an engaging hands on learning experience that allows pupils to explore their topic with curiosity and confidence.

🏖️ Holly Class joined us on a trip to the Seaside today.

💡 After building twinkling lighthouses that carefully followed a colour pattern we took a ride on the DUPLO Express which saw our tracks and trains going all round the classroom.

🐬 With sea animals and boats to complete the build the children had a wonderful time exploring this lovely summer topic through DUPLO play.

🧢 Another very happy ‘hat’ customer. This little chap was so excited to get his hands on a custom creation.

🤩 He couldn’t wait to get home and start accessoring it with his minifigures and LEGO bricks.

🚀✈️🚁Flying Machines at Downsway Primary School.

🎈I loved this brilliant hot air balloon build.

🛩️ We learnt about the first flight that the Wright Brothers took in 1903, Concorde, the Stratolaunch and modern air travel today before building our own amazing flying machines.

💦 The Big Splash

☀️ Perfectly timed for this weeks dose of sunshine ☀️

Our EYFS, KS1 & KS2 workshops allow children to explore big topics with little bricks through play.

🛟 Water safety is such an important lesson for children especially as the weather warms up. The children were keen to add lifeguards to their builds and put fences up around the pools to keep younger ones safe.

🚸Teaching life skills is invaluable. Our sessions make serious topics easier for children to understand and relate to with a hands on learning experience.

🏖️ A Trip to the Seaside. Our most popular theme for the Summer Term and so lovely when the sun is shining.

⛵️Our workshop includes lighthouses, sea animals and boats. It’s definitely one of my favourites, maybe because I love the beach or maybe because the children take such delight in putting the twinkling candles on their lighthouses at the end of the session.

🌎 Extreme Earth Whole School Workshop at Hanborough Manor Primary School.

🌋No less than 70 volcanoes buillt in two days with Yr1 - Yr6.

❤️ It is very satisfying to be able to bring a hands on learning experience to so many children. The benefits of play are endless and always commented on by Class Teachers.

🖐️🧱 I quite possibly owe Amie Pells a manicure. We have no thumb nails left this evening 🤣

🚸 Billund is known as the ‘City for Children’ and it didn’t take long for us to see why. 🏙️ Billund is home to Lalandia (think Center Parcs but on a much bigger and better scale) along with LEGO House and the original LEGOLAND. 🏠 The resort hosts self catering cabins that were scrumptiously clean, warm and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The activities on site are endless and include tubing, crazy golf, mining, bowling, trampolines, ice skating, shuffleboard, zip lines, football pool, high wires, racket sports and game arcades. It was impossible to get bored. 👙 Staying at Lalandia gives you unlimited access to the Aqua Dome which is the largest Water Park in Denmark. Along with 12 water slides the dome also hosts a wave pool, a toddler area, a cave pool for swimming alongside tropical fish, a splash park, two saunas and three hots tubs that children were actually allowed in. The best bit was that unlike water parks in the UK we queued for no more than five minutes for any of the slides. 🛝 Also included in the price of your accommodation is access to the exciting Monky Tonky Land. This huge soft play even kept my older boys entertained with the interactive trampolines and I was kept very happy with the massage chairs. Why don’t all soft plays have massage chairs for us grown ups!? Continued in comments…..
