We would like to Say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of our customers and followers.
We have had a busy run up to Christmas catering for many corporate events and we are looking forward to putting our feet up over the Christmas holidays and recharging for the 2025 season.

We look forward to catering our many weddings, parties and corporate events in 2025 and don't worry we have added extra units for the 2025 season so if you require our services then please get in touch 😁

“Oh I’ll hate going out in a storm…”

What a (quite literal!) whirlwind the past 48 hours have been…we’ve had a couple of sleepless nights watching the weather and praying this not-so-festive storm might pass - but we’ve had to make the very difficult decision that the Christmas Market will not being going ahead tomorrow afternoon.

This was an event that started as a small shell of an idea back in the Summer, to try and raise money for a fantastic cause. That idea quickly snowballed into what we know would have been a fabulous event and we’ve been busy working away at the idea with our stallholders over the past few months.

Marie Curie is a charity that’s so close to our hearts and this is why the decision to cancel has been so tough for us. In San Giovanni style, we simply aren’t prepared to go ahead with an event that would not be 100% perfect and the event we had planned it to be. A little drizzle wouldn’t have stopped proceedings, but, with the current force of the winds it’s with consensus of ourselves and our stallholders that it isn’t going to be safe to go ahead.

Whilst our Christmas Market may be postponed for now, we’re naturally working on a back up plan for something just as exciting in the new year!

We will still be continuing with our fabulous luxury raffle as planned and tickets will still be for sale until the 15th December either in the restaurant or online, and all proceeds of this will still be donated to Marie Curie. You better believe we’re still aiming for that £10,000 target…albeit maybe a little later than planned.

Thank you to every single person who was making the event possible and who has shown support for it all in aid of Marie Curie. Over the next week we’ll be posting more details of how you can still show your support and donate should you wish to.
