Hi fellow snappers!
Sorry, it's been a while without a post. It has been quite a time, hasn't it? Now I know it is the time of year where you are all booking your events and parties, and under normal circumstances, I would be back in a flash, ready to rumble and get back into it.
The only problem is I just cannot get better. Since March 2020 I began feeling ill and to this day I have never had a positive Covid Test. Yet here I am 18 months later and nowhere near getting better. The medical establishment does not know what to do with me and my symptoms get worse each week.
This as you can imagine, is upsetting and frustrating when I was so hoping to hop back into party mode and get snappy in the photo booth. I do not want to close business as I have worked so hard to build Snapparoo Booths, however, I am now at the point where I may need to either sell up or find staff to run the booth nights. Both options have their pros and cons.
It may be that I choose to find someone trustworthy and enthusiastic, that can continue to offer the level of customer service that Snapparoo clients have been used to in the past, the booth I run is very hands-on and involves the booth operator to be not just tech-savvy, but an entertainer too, making guests smile and always happy to help with props and the printed photographs.
Also, there is still the issue of increasing covid infections, even though the government have lifted all restrictions, and our vaccination program is well underway, I still feel we are a long way off to feeling truly safe in social spaces, and the photo booth industry is no exception.
I will keep you updated in the coming weeks and hopefully, if my diagnosis is good, then I can move forward and 'get back into it.'
In the meantime, if you know anyone that would consider helping me out in running the booth nights, I would love to hear from you. The ideal applicant would definitely need a large car or van, liability insurance and a love all things photo booth. I would be happy to do the background work, like maintaining our website and social media channels, designing the booth templates etc.
This is still a very difficult time for many and the pandemic is not yet over.
Thank you kindly for your understanding, I hope to see you all soon,
Beverley
