{Sealed With A Kiss}
Flashback to a beautiful wedding from last August (possibly the hottest on record!). It was so unbelievably hot that I had visions of this arch being nothing but a crispy twig by the 2pm ceremony …but thankfully it still looked the biz!

{Put A Ring On It}
Proof that a wreath is not just for Christmas! This summer wreath looked so pretty on the church door to welcome wedding guests and the happy couple. We then left it for the following day too for the Sunday worshippers to enjoy.

{Installations R Us}
Transforming staircases, ceremony spaces…and just about everything else in between since 2004.
I’ve been in the business of flower faffing a long time and I’m still here with my snips at the ready if you want to add some floral drama to your wedding day.

{RECYCLE, REUSE}
I will always suggest ways in which to get more bang for your back by repurposing your ceremony flowers for your wedding breakfast …and here’s a perfect example.
The two end meadows at the start of the aisle worked beautifully together as the fireplace display…simples!
And don’t fear…my team and I are on site to manage all the logistical movings too …so you can just focus on the ‘I do’s!’

{SOMETHING BLUE}
Doing a spot of ‘mood-boarding’ for a 2024 wedding yesterday and came across this beautiful wedding from last year .
Not had the time to share it (along with so many from last year!) but thought it’s a lovely example of introducing some pops of blue to your flower scheme …perfect for those couples who want to introduce the ‘something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue’ tradition into their big day.
Apparently the colour blue stands for love, purity and fidelity …it’s also meant to ward off the Evil Eye, a curse, according to folklore, that could make the bride infertile!
Personally I just think it’s a pretty addition to a summer scheme but if it keeps evil at bay, even better!

{With Love From Me To You}
Just a little note to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and thank you for sticking with me this year whilst I have been unusually quiet over here on the gram!
It goes without saying it’s been a tough year for everyone and a really manic one for anyone in the wedding industry as we try to play catch up.
I’ll be honest that my IG game has not been strong! Something had to give and that was it.
But, on a much more positive note, we survived to tell the tale and had the pleasure of flowering so many beautiful weddings
To all my lovely couples who finally managed to tie the knot in 2021 I wish you a wonderful first Christmas together as newlyweds and to all those whose weddings we’ll be sprinkling some floral magic on next year, enjoy the hols and here’s to 2022!
To all my flower friends I hope you get to put your feet up, eat your body weight in whatever takes your fancy and spend some time with your loved ones who I’m sure you’ve not seen much of this season!
And finally the biggest shout out to my incredible team - true forces of nature - who got me through some really testing times this summer - I genuinely couldn’t do what I do without you! You are all superheroes - minus the capes!
Much love, stay safe and well and let’s hope and pray next year is a little kinder to us all x

{Love Will Conquer All}
As the craziest of all my wedding seasons comes to a close I’ve finally got the time to look through all the pro photography from the last 6 months.
This wedding is a particular favourite, for such a sweet and lovely couple who were so patient waiting for their big day.
Proof that love really will conquer all …even if a global pandemic thwarts original plans several times over!

{2023 & Beyond}
Not surprisingly there has been a huge influx of 2023 enquires hitting my email recently. Couples are looking ahead and planning early, which is no bad thing!
However, I just thought it might be an idea to let all you lovely 2023 couples know that my diary won’t be opening until Spring of next year.
There’s several reasons but the main
is down to costs and knowing what charge. As with everything, flowers, foliage and sundries have all increased quite dramatically this year and whilst I’m no fortune teller, I’m sure will continue to do so next year and beyond. Brexit, Covid etc have obviously played their part and now with the hike in utility costs this is going to impact prices further. It’s hard enough to quote for 2022 let alone the year after! If only I had that crystal ball!!
So, whilst I would dearly love to flower your big day in 2023 I just can’t commit at the moment. I like to be as accurate with my quotes as I can so there are no nasty surprises at the last minute.
I’m sure there are plenty of other fabulous florists who are taking bookings as we all work differently so if you did feel happier securing someone then I totally understand. Personally I just need to see where the next 6 months take us.
If, however, you are happy to wait then use the time to gather lots of floral inspo and then get in touch March/April time next year and we can get the flower ball rolling!

A throwback to a beautiful end of May wedding when we created a broken arch for the church entrance and then brought it back to dress this incredibly pretty marquee in the bride’s parents beautiful garden.
Already it feels like a lifetime ago…

{All In The Details}
This wedding was an absolute beauty to flower.
Held in May, the restrictions at the time did nothing to dampen the spirits. As you can see it was quite possibly the loveliest of intimate weddings.
Every detail had been beautifully considered…from the homemade limoncello to the cut crystal glassware to the stunning marquee in the gardens of the bride’s family home.
The team and I were ooooing and ahhhing at the finished result!

{Worth The Wait}
Hands up…my Instagram game has not been strong over the last few months! With soooo many weddings to flower it’s been somewhat relentless and so something had to give.
I do feel I’ve been tested to the limit this year in more ways than one (and with more to come over the next couple of months that’s not going to change) BUT the sense of achievement and seeing the huge smiles on my couples faces as they finally say I do makes it all worthwhile.
Huge thanks to you lovely lot for bearing with …hoping normal service can now resume …especially as all the pro pics are starting to come in …just like this glorious pic from a beautifully intimate wedding we flowered back in May.

{One For The Team}
I’m just trying to let the madness of this last week sink in. With two beautiful weddings to flower plus a rather epic christening it’s been non-stop plate spinning. I’d forgotten what it’s like to work 16+ hour days!
But today is not about me but my wonderful team. A gorgeous gaggle of gals, all accomplished florists in their own right, who always go the extra mile ….and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Powered entirely by cake and coffee they never moan or whinge (they leave that to me!!) but work like trojans and amaze and astound me that they still want to keep coming back for more!
Thanks so much team…you are forces of nature and I know you always have my back ….and for that I’m forever grateful.

{Huge thanks for this fab pic !!}

{Let’s Get This Party Started (again!)}
With some restrictions still in place over the next few weeks I can really understand the frustration many couples (and those in the wedding industry) will be feeling today.
Watching scenes of football fans celebrating in their hundreds hugging, dancing, drinking together and not keeping to socially distanced rules it’s absolutely farcical that weddings can’t do the same.
But, looking on the brighter side, it is worth celebrating guest numbers increasing again (socially distanced/space permitting) and slowly but surely we can get back to some semblance of normality. Hell knows we’ve waited long enough!

{Party Time}
It’s been so flippin’ good to get back to the flowers this week.
Whilst I won’t argue the 4am starts and the 16 hour days have been quite the shock to the system, I’d forgotten just how lucky I am to make people happy with flowers!
Our wedding at yesterday was the first in over 16 months so it was a very special day for us and our lovely couple who, like hundreds of others, have had to postpone their date multiple times.
Now let’s keep everything crossed we can head towards June 21st without a hitch. God knows we need it to keep heading in the right direction!
