Visiting family in Oxford, a city I love and where I grew up, I couldn’t resist taking a snap of the skyline. This view is from South West of the city, the beautiful University buildings and towers are just about visible in the centre with the John Radcliffe Hospital (large white elevated building) appearing to be isolated on the hill some 4.5Km away. In reality, JRH is in a busy area of Oxford between Headington and Marston.

A most charming church, seemingly in the middle of nowhere but in fact the church enjoys considerable support from local community.
I understand the church was built in 1863 by Joseph Clarke, a Gothic Revival Architect.

The village Flood Group have done an amazing job today and the local community has pulled together.
