When you’re trying to take pics of your latest creation and Sgip and Nel want to be part of the action… A garden sculpture I made out of broken slate that had come off the old roof of the bwthyn when it was replaced before my time here. Thought it deserved to be honoured for keeping generations of past occupiers warm and dry for so many years 😉

A good chunk of clinker after yesterday, a sign of a good forging session. Working copper today, beautiful material to work!

Diwrnod prysur iawn. Cofio pa mor lwcus oeddwn yn coleg i gael offer ffansi o bob math. Ond teimlo’n falch iawn o gael gweithdy yn y bwthyn o’r diwedd.

When you’re reminded of how lucky we were in Uni to have power hammers. And Only some of you will quite appreciate what it’s like to try and transform some very old tools into something else when you have NO Idea what the material is. And. Dirty doesn’t begin to describe it! But a very Happy INSPIRED mountain gal. A deadline looms, but it’s looking good. Diolch for your part in it. You know who you are 🥰 x

A wonderful day of skip diving and arty inspiration. Oh oh, as my Mam would have said…. Loved being back in one of my favourite environments, and seeing some of the wonderful staff at the slate museum. Diolch am eich cymorth!
