Neighbours came round to all the people in the Cul-de-Sac asking what we could do to help. I said well I can draw and I am good with children. I then got volunteered to do the facepainting for the day. Off I trotted and bought books and paint and I then got home and sat my poor son down and practiced. After Tigers, Clowns and Pirates I then proceeded to try Fairies, Princesses and Butterflies to t
he disgust of my son he decided enough was enough. The day came and I was all set up and ready to go, it was also the year of the South Korean World Cup and England were playing Sweden. With help from another neighbour we proceeded to paint face after face making them all different types of animals and lots and lots of England flags. After the event the neighbour that had helped asked if I would do some Face Painting at his Fire Station in Stroud. From there it went from strength to strength. I was Berkerly Castle's resident Face Painter and went on to other castles and many, many diferent events. After moving to Dorset in 2007 I put the Face Painting Business onto the back burner for a while to focus on other projects. I have still been able to do a few events each year such as childrens' Christmas parties and various Open Days and Charity Events. But the time has come to get back to doing what I love. Sadly my long sufering son is too old to be a viable guinea pig (no pun intended) but he has provided me with three wonderful grandchildren who are the perfect platform to sharpen up my skills. With competitive rates and a dedication to quality; I invite you to review my page and look at the photos which show off some of my designs. I absolutely love what I do so please do not hesitate to contact me if you require a quote or more details.
