All this dreary weather is making us dream about sun drenched summer celebrations. The ones where every sip of crisp cool glass of rosé tastes heavenly. This time of year is when we are hard at work behind the scenes planning exciting events. We are reaching out to suppliers, scrutinising contracts and lots of financial spreadsheets comparing supplier quotes. It's not glamorous but it is all necessary to ensure an excellent supplier team to deliver our high standards on events!

We’ve just had a wonderful night away at The Pig at Bath, a very generous thank you gift from a previous client. We have the pleasure of working with their family again this year - we are always sad when an event comes to a close so it’s really special when we have the opportunity to plan further events together with clients.

Music - It really helps to create an atmosphere at events. It is true that during the drinks reception guests will be mingling and chatting but it really adds to the ambience to have music playing at the same time, it could be a harpist, classical or a duo such as this talented band . For the evening, really think about whether you want a band, or a DJ - or my personal favourite, a DJ with a live element such as a sax player to bring that element of live atmosphere.
