Sound-One presents – a rare opportunity to experience an evening with The Real Swing Band - a professional quality 13 piece band from South Essex who perform classic songs from the Rat Pack and other top swing artists.
Just a couple of tables are left for the show at the Foakes Hall. Dunmow, 30th November. Please note that all other dates on the Christmas tour are now sold out.
Tickets are £160 for a table of 10 and catering can be pre-booked. E-mail [email protected] for details. Tables are reserved on receipt of payment.
The band deliver the songs with the energy and enthusiasm of modern performers like Michael Bublé and Robbie Williams, with a healthy nod to the original “Rat Pack” performers like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr to keep the big band swing sound alive and kicking. The Real Swing has performed at The Excel Centre, Cliffs Pavilion and Palace Theatre, Southend amongst many, many others and is widely considered the top swing band in Essex.
Putting a show on of this quality with such superb musicians is a real pleasure for us and we look forward to hearing that you will be joining us

Well... last night was just epic for our team.

We offer the warmest of thank-yous to the very lovely and irrepressible Robert Hart from Manfred Mann's Earth Band for looking after us so capably - we loved your special DMC set, you and birthday elderly Mick Rogers smashed it and we all left bigger hearted.

Many, many thanks to our loyal customers for your amazing support - and for bringing friends - it's lovely to see new faces too.

Absolutely loved the Great dunmow Soapbox Race Massive congratulations to Great Dunmow Round Table, Ladies Circle, 41 Club and all the Volunteers that made it happen!! Kudos in spades to all those who built and took their Soapboxes down the hill. With a special mention to those who pushed them off the ramp or did the spannering, welding and gaffa taping. Wouldn’t have happened without you!!! Got to love Great Dunmow!!!!
