We are excited to welcome special guest Zapapaya to the next Muévete session on 5th April hot on the heels of his pure fire remixes for Bad Bunny, Carlos Vives and Los Alegres Ambulancias (Palenque Records) and most recently his original track alongside @negrahawkins for the legendary Africanism label (featured here). His productions are spiced with Afro-Colombian folklore as well as Salsa, a vibe reflected in his recent DJ sets for Let Him Cook and Rinse France. After 12 years of producing music for numerous artists and releasing several successful singles with millions of streams on Spotify, Zapapaya released his first EP titled "Raíces" - that reinvents Afro Colombian rhythms through refined electronic production. Recorded between Cartagena and Palenque, this work stems from a transatlantic collaboration with the final production taking place in Paris. It features renowned artists such as La Burgos, DJ Corpas (Systema Solar), Gotopo, Ëda Diaz, and more. With this project, Zapapaya establishes himself as a significant figure in a movement initiated by artists like Ghetto Kumbé, Cerrero, and Quantic.
