Happy Anniversary Max and Callie - two years later and still so many precious memories of this magical weekend.

Guests dined and partied in a beautiful Sperry tent located in the gardens of Heckfield Place. We designed the space to feel like an extension of the sublime interiors of Heckfield, with an elegant and understated feel in a crisp green and white palette. We worked closely with our design team to create a bespoke chinoiserie bar and stage backdrop, for the perfect cocktail lounge vibe.

The Soul Jets and ensured the dance floor was full all night long.

Because we all love a secret afterparty! Hidden from view in the magnificent ballroom of Euridge Manor, guests were lead from the magical al-fresco dinner under the stars, into the coolest nightclub. Any my gosh I have never seen such a packed and rocking dancefloor in all my life. Credit to for the vibes and for the sensational serves.

Pure Magic!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fine dining at a meticulously set table, in the most magical of settings is a key reminder of the joy of shared experiences. Our table designs feature layer upon layer of exquisite and carefully chosen details. The perfect piece of cutlery, each fold of the napkin, and the placement of a plate has a part to play in the overall story.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And this one was pretty special to say the least, as only a few hours before it did not even exist. As guests walked beneath the floral and chandelier lined pergola pathway, to make their way from ceremony to drinks, they had no idea that our team was busy sprinkling the ultimate layer of magic. Upon their return to this space, the transformation unfolded and the element of surprise was indelibly locked in their memory.

Are you a get me to the Church on-time kinda person? Or do you like to be fashionably late?

A key question any wedding planner worth their salt needs to ask their couples.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We need to know the varying nuances of the personalities we are working with, so we can allow for those differences when we plan our timelines. There will be those who are itching to leave early as to them being late is the biggest crime vs those who are known to be late for everything, and no matter how hard they try they just can’t seem to get ready on time.

Neither is right, neither is wrong.

Once we know this about our couples we can manage it to ensure they have the preparation schedule that suits their personality best, and we have a smooth flowing event with no surprises.

There’s no blueprint or rule book when it comes to running your own business, and 15 years later I still mainly rely on gut feeling to see me through.

I have to admit something. With the apparently dystopian world we are living in currently, it has felt really jarring to me to be sharing pretty weddings and bleating on about what inspired us with a particular event design.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instagram has always been my place for inspiring ideas, connecting with colleagues and clients, sharing our work and just having a general old mindless scroll - when the mind is whirring with a million and one tasks. A mind that often, really just needs to zone out for a minute.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However I am acutely aware that in my safe haven this is all I have to worry about, and what a privilege that is.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I truly do want to share my work, this is my business account and it’s sole purpose is a portfolio and behind-the-scenes insight into what we live and breathe as event producers. I want to celebrate my couples and their milestone moments, and I want to credit the hard work of all the individuals involved in every great event we produce together.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But recently I’ve only wanted to hide away, as sharing has felt incongruous as the world is suffering in so many ways.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That doesn’t mean I don’t care about what is happening, how could anyone not care about what is going on right now?. Yes I am outraged, sickened and so very sad for all the loss. I so deeply admire everyone who fights hard to end the suffering and I pray every day that they succeed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
SO what to do? Continue posting, celebrating the love and everything that is beautiful in this world, or be silenced by these atrocities? Even contemplating this question seems vacuous.

I know in my heart that sharing love and joy can only be a good thing.

A Kin House welcome party kicked off this British destination wedding from last Summer. We welcomed 120 international guests to the Cotswolds for three days of beautiful celebrations across multiple locations.

Including fully hosted accommodation at two private estates and a hotel in Bath, with chauffeured transportation between each event location.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We kicked off the first day with a welcome party . A private hire Georgian House in the Wiltshire countryside exquisitely designed by , and host to some of our guests for the duration of the stay.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Delicious feasting and a relaxed vibe was the order of the evening, superbly entertained by ALRs Juke Joints roaming band and James on piano during dinner.

We’re back in the office today after a lovely work trip to Sardinia.

Attending where we met with so many wonderful hoteliers, luxury properties and experience providers from around the world. From Italy to Portugal, to Greece to Spain as well as those further flung destinations of Mexico, Bali, Thailand and the Caribbean.

“If you wanted the moon I'd tie a little lasso and pull it down for you"It’s Valentines week! Come on hands up how many of you are believers? Do you go all out with the celebrations or scramble around last minute to find a witty card and leave it at that?

I’m in the latter camp and have never been one for over-the-top Valentines gestures (because who wants to confine romance to one day?) but nothing wrong if you’re a hearts and flowers - I want it all, kinda Valentiner.

What I am a big believer in though is LOVE.

The purest, sweetest love stories that are galvanised during those everyday moments. The bits in between the big stuff, the funny little anecdotes, the coming together during life’s trials and the mistakes made. And at the end of it all, knowing you are by each others side through everything. Stronger together as a team.

This has got to be one of the most beautiful and heartfelt speeches I’ve heard over many years as a planner - and yes I cry at every one. Also so pleased our Groom listened me when I kept telling him to take those bloody sunglasses off for his speech and allowed his emotion to be witnessed by all.

A beautiful moment to treasure.

Excited to be back in Suffolk next week, visiting our friends with our NYC couple and their family. Mapping out plans for their Summer wedding celebrations.

It’s taking every ounce of imagination we have to remember what warm sunshine filled moments feel like, whilst we are in the midst of these very cold wintery days. But as planners - that’s our job!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We so often visit sites in the darkest depths of winter when the land is yet to bloom. Sometimes covered in snow, and often raining! It takes a leap of faith (and a lot of research) to explore how best to use those spaces when the days are long and the sunset hits in just the right spot. Nothing is left to chance, and whilst we may not be able to plan for exact weather - we certainly consider the variables of changing daylight light within our timelines.

So the festivities are over and it’s the start of a brand new year. For all those couples currently diving into the planning of their weddings - we wish you so much joy and fun throughout your journey, because honestly it really can be.

Of course we know with the help of a wedding planner things are so much easier, it’s basically our job to take that stress away. But if you’re tackling this process on your own, there’s still a way to approach things like a planner would. It’s all about organisation, systems and insights.

We highly recommend for those planning without a planner - arm yourself with as much knowledge as you can:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🗒️ Dive into those wedding blogs - is our go-to resource for insightful and meaningful content without the gimmicks.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❓Ask around. If you want trusted recommendations then seek them out from people in the know. Your friends and family are a great start, but the ones who know best - and know this industry inside and out - are the ones working in it. So lean on your supply teams and ask them who are their go-to suppliers and why.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤍 Follow your heart. Always. Trends come and go, and whilst Pinterest and Instagram are fantastic tools for honing in on your design ideas and overall vibe, you can easily get lost looking at all the pretty. Sure save down ideas, but be ruthless in your selection and ask yourself: does this fit my original intended vision?
