We are open 11 till 3pm on Sunday, Treacle Market Day, enjoy our book shop selling everything from summer holiday reads, to rare and collectable books,and learn about the history of the church, the art, the architecture and the people.

It is World Book Day on Thursday, we have seen lots of characters today, from cats, witches, Wizards, detectives, Dalmatians, and so many more. Happy Halloween to everyone. A big thank you to everyone who has shopped with us, a big thank you to Macclesfield Town Council for creating fun events .

We have noticed an increase in anti-social behaviour in the last few months, amongst a small but increasingly confident group/groups of young people. We are seeing an increase in thefts and vandalism. It seems that these kids are just causing trouble for the hell of it. There is nothing that anyone seems to be able to do about it, all we can do is publish footage from our CCTV to warn other people.
