Holly and Matt are such a cool, stylish pair, it was no surprise that their wedding at the gorgeous Summerhall in Edinburgh was a thing of extraordinary beauty.

Holly's mum made that incredible handfasting band, tying in all the autumnal colours, mirrored in the hand-crafted lampshades, the flowers and of course the bridesmaids dresses.

THOSE COLOURS! 😍 (captured by Patrick Alexander Weddings who was brilliant and SO much fun to work with.

"Matt and I were married in September by Sarah in our beautifully ceremony in Summerhall. It was tailored to our story and for that it was SO memorable. Sarah was so kind, thoughtful and a brilliant speaker when it came to telling our story. We had so many compliments from guests who were incredibly impressed with how different it was, being fresh and vibrant but with some traditional aspects! As a creative family, we absolutely adored that Sarah made room for our excitement of the day, calling out the bridesmaids and best men, as well my dad. My mum was even able to make the hand fasting rope that Sarah was more than happy to include. We will never forget it, and we’re so glad that Sarah could bring it all together so brilliantly. When your bride and groom and ALL the guests are so excited they totally jump the gun and start mad cheering before I have a chance to announce them married!

Love that www.douglasmackenzie.co.uk managed to capture WAIT FOR IT and GO CRAZY 😂 (tags playing up so my apologies - I'll try and fix it. Please don't come for me!)

Shonagh and Kalen's ceremony at the gorgeous Cornhill Castle was full of fun, laughter and love, just like they are. Their love story is so darned romantic I had a job not swooning in the telling of it.

Friday the 13th was the PERFECT date to post Roxanne and Liam's wedding.

For the reasons.

They put so much thought into the decor for their beautiful wedding at Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa with wee skull vases and roses hung upside down from above (by the cleverest clogs Paperwhite Floral Design) . It was SO cool and SO gorgeous.

Roxanne was a wee bit nervous before we got underway (which is TOTALLY NORMAL) but just look at how she and Liam shone 🌟. And please take a moment for Roxanne's .

The darlings that they are dropped me a line after their wedding:

Aren't Jasmaine and Blair the cutest couple? Yes. Yes they are!

And guess what? They've known each other since they were teeny tiny S1 pupils at high school.

They only got together in the summer after S6. They told their parents they were meeting up with lots of pals, but would slope off to sit at a bench at the local sailing club, just the two of them. I'm not sure my old heart can take that level of wholesome cuteness. 🥰🥰🥰

They were lovely enough to drop me a wee line the DAY AFTER their ceremony (😭).

Hi Sarah,

Just wanted to give you a massive thank you for yesterday, the ceremony was wonderful and you have been fantastic throughout this whole process.

Everyone was saying that it was the best ceremony they've ever been to and how funny and lovely you were.

When faced with a floral arch this epic, what else am I to do but tit around in front of it?!

Made a passing young person take the pic of me, then the wedding dog-wrangler^ wrangle the gorgeous Henry to sit in front of it so i could take a pic of him, then insisted poor Craig* off of get a selfie with me (he did not enjoy this experience).

^I forgot to get her name but please tag if you know her.

*Fun fact. I've never worked with Craig before, but we were once at a rather slow wedding fayre together. So slow that the time was passed titting around and having a laugh, so it was like working with an old pal.

When Mark asked Bernie to marry him, their wee boy Oscar was there to help out. It's only right then, that he was front and centre on their gorgeous wedding day at The Vu. HOW cute is he?😍

Bernie and Mark's friends and family were chuffed to bits for them. There was a lot of laughter, a few tears, and just the right amount of gentle heckling throughout.

If you were to look up the words "total babes", I'm confident you'd get a photo of Lotta and Cameron.

These two people have no business looking so good, but as they are such cast-iron sweethearts, we'll all just have to get over it, okay?! 😍

If you looked up "blustery af", you'd get a picture of Cameron and Lotta's wedding day.🌬

The beach at beautiful Tyninghame in East Lothian is stunning anyway, and the wind and scudding clouds added an amazing atmosphere (beautifully captured here by Capercaillie Films Weddings)

I found sand in places sand had no business being for days afterward, but who cares because WOW was this a special day or what?

I can't tell you how lucky I felt to have been your celebrant, you wonderful humans. Wishing you and yours every happiness and sending much love through the ether ❤

Must give a wee shout out to Lotta and Cammy's pal who acted as a mic stand throughout 95% of the ceremony. What a guy - literally could not have managed without him. I am forever grateful and only a little disappointed that his name was not actually "Mike" 😂

Scottish weather can be....temperamental. 🌞🌧🌦❄🌨

How bloody marvellous that it behaved itself beautifully for Laura and Paul's perfect, intimate family wedding at the walled garden at Madeira In Fife . Let's take a moment for that floral arch...wow!

The guests were their parents, siblings and kids. (How cute is their wee girl Iona, smashing it in her TINY docs). This allowed for just the right amount of friendly heckling of the groom....mostly from his mum. 😂

Laura and Paul are such a lovely, laid back, funny couple, they wanted their wedding ceremony to reflect that.

Working with them was such a pleasure. Congratulations again, and thank you for having me.

Katy and Paul only went and got married! I only got to marry them!

They asked me to include this quote from Virginia Woolf in their ceremony:

“I see you everywhere, in the stars, in the river, to me you're everything that exists; the reality of everything. Life, I tell you, would be impossible without you”.

And THAT is all I need to say.

Other than this - LOOK at their lovely, happy, madly in love faces! 🥰👰🤵🥰

This is Lewis.

He was a groomsman at Saturday's amazing wedding (pics will follow). Twas his auntie's wedding.

We discussed his splendid eye-wear at length 😎👀 and agreed that it did not matter that it wasn't anyone's birthday because these specs are PARTY SPECS and Lewis was there to party.🥳🎊🎉

What a great wee guy. Made my day.

Also: Lewis' wee brother didnae rate my patter and left approx 1 min 30 seconds in. Fair dos 😂

BOO! 🎃👻

Hallowe'en weddings are spooktacular!

Sara and Kieran's INCREDIBLE wedding at Prestonfield House was a perfect case study in crafting your wedding day the way YOU want it.

Sara looked amazing in beautiful gothic black lace and net with the most gorgeous crystal crown I've ever seen, and Kieran rocked the hell out of his kilt.

They tied the knot. They jamp* the broom and by the time it was all over, they were SO married.

Rumours that I *may* have made a tit of myself by getting all teary during a reading are entirely true.

Sara was kind enough to drop me a wee line: "We both wanted to thank you so much for everything that you did for us on Friday - the ceremony was absolutely perfect - better than we even hoped it would be!" 🥰

WEDDING DUGS! 👰🤵🐶🐾🍾

It was Katie and Steven's love of dugs that first brought them together, so how fitting that the pooches got front row seats at their beautiful wedding at the stunning Steading Events.

Their adorable wee boy Harris provided another of my favourite things at a wedding - wee ones in kilts. I mean...is there anything cuter?! (No. There is not!) 👶

They were married at the gorgeous Comrie Croft on a blistering hot day. ☀

Aren't the colours fabulous (PLEASE tag the florist if you know them!). 🌷🌼🌻🌺💐

The guests sang Waterloo!👩‍🎤👨‍🎤. Yes! It was marvellous!

The family dog put in an appearance 🐶🐾

Their story was too cute for words.😊

They had an actual ICE CREAM truck 🍨

(Is it bad that I am still obsessing over the fact that I said "No thank you" when Alice offered to use bride's privilege to queue jump and get me an ice cream? OBSESSING. Why did I do that? WHY? The only explanation is that I am an idiot).

Everything about their wedding was bright, breezy, joyful and fun...just like Alice and Angus.
