For our love of the Italian Dolomites, how exciting this wedding was to plan. There were challenges with documentation in Italy, but we made it in the end. In under six months their civil ceremony was planned at the top of Cinque Torre - one of the most breathtaking spots near Cortina. A just-before-Christmas wedding, meant their families were altogether in a cosy chalet on their wedding day. The skiing enthusiasts got to ski, and the photographer did an amazing job. Hot chocolate, Black Forest gateaux and some alcoholic beverages topped the day.

I’ve learnt three things recently about Positano on the Amalfi coast and it’s probably one of the most famous towns on the Amalfi coast. The views are spectacular whatever the time of day but the lighting is so special - think dreamy wedding photographs…. The terrace of the Hotel Marincanto has to be the top location for your intimate ceremony and as a Celebrant I was overjoyed to conduct a ceremony in such a spectacular location, and then let’s talk hospitality of the locals - it’s not just about the food and drinks, it’s their gracious way of serving and making you feel special.
I’ve so much to say about my recent wedding but let’s wait for official photos and huge congratulations to K & R 🥂❤️.

When I first started talking to Lauren and Mark, over a year ago, Sorrento was high on their list of choices for their destination wedding, I whizzed over some of my favorite locations to include sea view, and the gorgeous rustic venue they soon decided on after a visit in the Spring. It’s deeply satisfying to know you have matched a couple with their dream venue and on the day it surpasses everyone’s expectations 😍😍😍. After all the planning and everyone is back home it can be a little bit of a slump, yet when I receive the loveliest od emails and review from the bride’s parents, well how wonderful is that 😍🥂🥂🥂. It really does make my job so worthwhile and I appreciate the thought taken to write those words

Today was really like living in a dream - to be in the most beautiful location in the world and to be part of this special couple’s important day really is a privilege and I cherish these moments. When a couple desire an intimate simple ceremony, an experience with their loved ones and a memory they will never forget - add to that a touch of magic, a sparkle of fun and just heart felt best wishes for them and a long happy life together ❤️.

Wedding pro tip - an important detail that’s often overlooked is Who lights the candles? And when ? Although your wedding planner oversees your wedding, tasks have to be clearly understood between vendors. If you have a large wedding with lavish table decor and many candles, in your vendors time line we will need to block off time for lighting or candles - having good vendors who understand their tasks and where necessary all ‘assist at last minute’ makes all the difference in a professionally and beautifully orchestrated wedding -ordinators

Signage at your wedding is indeed powerful and helps to guide your guests on where to go and what do do, it also sets the style of your wedding and often a talking point. 🤓 Yes guests notice the smallest of details - I’ve often heard small complimentary comments about even the smallest carefully placed ribbon 🎀 or a personalised tag….. it’s easy to be overwhelmed though by the choices and a wedding designer or planner can keep you on track. Let me know your thoughts in signage below ⬇️. Any ideas you really love ?

In the beautiful and tranquil vineyards and hillsides of Friuli, Paty and Ben made their vows and celebrated in style with family and guests who had travelled from across the world to be with them. The photos show their vision came to life, and their good taste in flowers, colours and details, not to mention the excellent wines they wanted to make sure everyone tried🥂😊.
