🎄Welcome to the life of a florist in December.....
These will not be clean until January....
We are 5 wonderful wreath classes down with plenty more to go, have our first festive event of the season tomorrow, have just flowered our final wedding of the year, have 3 incredible events and some seriously beautiful flowers for filming on location to create.... and that is just this week alone.......
You lot really are keeping these broken hands busy!
Our emails and admin may be a little slow at the mo whilst we flower our way through this next week or so, so thank you all for patience!

All the textures and colours of autumn for yesterday's gorgeous dinner.

It really does make us very happy little florists when our clients trust us with their brief. They trust our choice of flowers, our recommendation of colour palette and the style of design too. What an absolute priviledge to have such fab customers!
With our final two weddings of the year on the horizon, a mammoth couple of weeks coming up, a mass of wreath classes and the start of festive season; we most certainly are not winding down for the year!
Our emails and proposals may be a little slower at the moment whilst we work through this busy period, but we thank you all for your patience and amazing support in keeping us VERY, VERY busy!

Whilst we ADORE colour here, sometimes a good 'ol white wedding is in order.
Not just any white wedding though. We love all the texture, layered blooms, the prettiest of foliage and the MOST exquisite of roses.

What a bloody fantastic wedding this was. When M&M came to us with their vision of how they would like their day to look and feel, we instantly fell in love!
The colour palette, the flower choice, the hanging tassels, the disco vibes, the bride's cape.... the entire vibe just felt so right.
To say we loved every second of it, is an understatement.
When the clients, suppliers and vision match so well, true magic really does happen. 💕

The textures, the richness, the depth of the colour, the dark tones, the berriesand the velvets!
With one more wedding to go for the year, we are heading full pelt into event and wreath season..... bring on the glitter.... 🤣

As our autumn weddings head to a close, it's time for us to take stock, breathe and catch up on the mountain of emails, enquiries, beautiful 'thank yous' and exciting opportunities that are spilling out of our inbox!
It's been an incredibly busy couple of weeks and our social content is certainly lacking.... but we have some gorgeous events and weddings that we cannot wait to share with you.
The next two weeks are all about catching up.... so if you are awaiting a proposal, quotation or an answer to your enquiry, keep your eye on those inboxes, I shall work through them as quickly as I can!

The last of those gorgeous Cosmos.... the Japanese Anemone absolutely stealing the show however!
A beautifully clean, fresh palette for last weekend's bride which worked so beautifully with the setting of their personal Church ceremony.

Oh autumn you beauty..........
What a busy few weeks we have had over here. Who thought October was for slowling things down a little....
Heading into another beautiful wedding weekend, a shake-up of the shop from summer to autumn (sort of....), a mass clean, clear and rebox of props, candelabra, glassware and candles, consultations, quotes, quotes, quotes, corporate events and Christmas garlanding (yes really!). Who needs time for posting on socials anyway? 🤣

If I had to name my favourite centrepiece style to create, it would always be the candle circlet. Not the stiff, rigid, boring type; the organic, free-flowing wild and free type. Full of texture and lush, layered flowers and created to encase the hurricane lanterns or storm vases in a mass of soft blooms, to me, they are the perfect piece. Teamed with geometric lanterns at the gorgeous , this type of design oozes romance and grace.
Thankfully you lot love them too and we have so many gorgeous circlets to make. We cannot wait!

As we head back from our summer break and the season is definitely shifting, our focus moves to our autumnal and winter weddings, our incredible corporate clients and oodles of consultations for next year.
Our wreath class dates are about to drop, our Christmas orders are going in (yes really!) and the studio needs a seriously good tidy!
We will have a big faux flower and studio sale soon to sell off some the last of our incredible summer stock, ready to reload with the gorgeous tones of autumn.
Now back to tomorrow's big event....

We adored creating this beautiful barn arrangement for our couple to marry underneath. Colourful, natural, wild and beautiful. What's not to love!

The return of the churn.....
These bad boys have made quite a few appearances at our weddings this summer. Our original vintage French milk churns are still to this day one of our best finds. Sturdy, rustic, the perfect height to show off our flowers and so easy to move around your venue. What's not to love?

All dressed up and ready to go.....
This weather got you worrying about how your flowers will hold up on your wedding day? Don't worry, we've got your back!
After a good overnight drink, your bridal and ladies' bouquets, buttonholes and bouts are all finished the morning of your wedding. Final tweaks, checks, alterations, petal removal and size checks are all refined before we hand ribbon every design. Once we are delighted with the finish, they are all packaged and transported to you in fresh water where they will continue to drink until their big moment to shine!
You may up early on your big day, but we can bet we're up and at it even earlier! 😘.
