Hi All, a quick note to say we still have a few slots left for our pop-up Indian takeaway that's happening this Saturday 23rd from 5.30pm to 7pm. So if you don't want to cook, have got friends coming over and would like to have a "Proper Indian" meal, slow cooked and not flash cooked in some old takeaway in town, then look no further. We've got a lovely selection of food on tomorrow, so if you've not decided on your dinner for tomorrow night or just done't want to cook, give us a try. Hi everyone, it's that time of year when our thoughts turn to family and friends and celebrating good things amongst people we know and love. Christmas is also a time to spare a thought for those less fortunate than ourselves and to show some kindness and compassion. With that in mind I'm delighted to share with you that today we have provided around 50 meals for the " Curry and Carols" event at the Light Project Peterborough this afternoon. We're so glad to be able to give something back to the community in particular to those people who find themselves without a roof over their heads and have to sleep rough or can't afford to cook a hot meal. It's been a privilge. Thank you to the team at The Light Project.

Hi All, I hope all is good with you and the Christmas preparations are going well. We’ve been busy with festivals and events, the last one finished yesterday. Many of you have been asking when we’ll be running our Pop-Up Takeaways again, well people the answer is next Saturday 9th December 5.30pm to 7pm. So, folks if you fancy a proper Indian takeaway and don’t want to cook next Saturday, then check out our Menu.
We have our famous Chicken Raja & Veg (or Vegan) Raja meals for one and samosas, pakoras and poppadum’s accompanied by our delicious carrot, mango, and tamarind chutney.

Our moto is "Once tasted, never forgotten" so come along and try our authentic Indian food, we have a great range of Samosas (meat and veg), Pakoras, Curries, Saffron Rice and Naans. We’re delighted to announce that following an inspection by Peterborough City Council we have retained our 5-star (Very Good) food hygiene rating. The team here has been working hard to make sure that we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, in our kitchens, that all our staff have up to date knowledge when it comes to food preparation and handling. We’ve had to take on-line courses and take tests to gain our certificates. Why does this matter? Because the safety of our customers and their experience of our food matters.

Hello friends, I'm delighted to be able to share with you that today we were able to put our catering talents to some really good use by providing our snacks and curry meals to the Light Project Peterborough for a fabulous event called Carols N Curry. We served around 40 meals to guests, friends and volunteers. The food went down really well and we enjoyed serving it. BBC Look East also came along and made a film which I've just recorded from the TV, do have a look.
Wishing all the great people at Light Project Peterborough a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from all of us at The Little Panjab Food Company. My thanks to Paddy Berryman and the whole team there.

Hello friends, I trust you’re all well and staying warm during this cold snap. With Christmas around the corner and New Year hot on its heels, we’ve been asked if we’re planning on offering any party food? We’ll my friends, I’m delighted to say we are and we’re taking orders.
We’ve kept the menu limited to make it easier and put together a 6 and 12 person Raja Thali’s which offer a selection of our best-selling meat samosas (turkey), veg samosas, mixed veg pakoras and chicken tikka skewers, all accompanied with mango chutney and raita.
We’re taking orders for collection from our base at Willow Tree Farm (PE6 7PJ) on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. If you’d like to collect on a different date, just ask and we’ll see what we can do for you. Ordering is simple, just message, email or call and we’ll do the rest.
We’re also offering a bespoke service if you’d like to add any of our curries, chicken, veg, tadka dhal, saffron rice and naans to your order, just ask for a price.

We describe ourselves as British by birth, Panjabi by heritage and passionate about our food. We make and serve authentic Panjabi cuisine as only we Panjabis know how to. Once tasted it’s never forgotten and we invite you to try it.
We hand make authentic Panjabi cuisine prepared using home ground spices, organic fresh vegetables grown at Willow Tree Farm and locally sourced meat from responsible and ethical suppliers. We cook to order catering for private parties, office functions, civil ceremonies, weddings and outdoor events where we prepare and sell our food to eat immediately or take away from our stall. For private parties and functions we cater from 10 people to 100+ depending on your needs and choice of food. We deliberately keep our menu limited as we cook fresh from the masala to the thali (sauce to dinner plate) ensuring, quality, texture, visual appeal but most of all a taste that will leave you wanting more. We can of course cook a wide range of dishes, both vegetarian and meat but please note we do NOT cook beef or veal. For a bespoke menu simply call or email us to discuss your plans. We’ll even cook a sample meal for you to try so we can adjust the spice and heat (chilli) to suit your taste.
