Haven't posted in a long time. Life just kinda gets in the way.

Anyway, thought I'd share a review that has actually just been posted. This is why I do genuinely love what I do.

Last month, I had the honour of leading Bethany and Robert's wedding at the Brig O' Doon Hotel, Ayr.

I was absolutely delighted to be part of their day and they were both as happy as you'd ever see them!

Bethany and Robert, along with their magical guests, were absolutely brilliant and made it such an enjoyable experience - even having the decency to humour me throughout!

I was even more thrilled when Bethany and Robert left me a fantastic review and it has truly humbled me.

Fifth and final service of the week @ Kilmarnock Cemetery. Might be the 1st of March but it's still very much winter!

Been a tough week of crematoria, parlours, town halls and cemeteries but I continue to be humbled everyday in this job.

Still one of the most rewarding career moves I've made!

Today's stopover, Masonhill Crematorium. Although, they've closed the wee spying room we use to watch the hearse coming down the drive! What's that about!?

Today, up at the Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium. Such a nice setting. Plenty of Geography around for me to admire as well 💪

The staff are always great to have a wee blether with too.

In spite of the heartbreak that families will be going through, I am always massively humbled when I get such lovely feedback from relatives who have just lost someone so close to them, yet take the time to message me.

This has been a challenging but unbelievably fulfilling job so far. It's been an honour for me lead these services: from a little life that has barely begun all the way through to a life well lived. All with their own stories.
