Roses - selling half of my David Austin roses.
It will be an informal affair I.e bring a spade, and dig 😁David Austin have advised it's fine to move at this time of year they will just need a little time to adjust this season and feeding. Heavily reduced up to 1/4 of the retail price depending on qualities - and I'm giving a portion to cancer care.
DM if interested.

I'm currently clearing away the flower field as a final farewell. However all of the fancy narcissus bulbs are starting to flower and they seem a shame to waste. If you would like a bunch in the coming weeks or a trade bucket - do send me a message ♥️

A little update 🤍 As the season draws to a natural end, now feels like the right time to announce that I'm in a personal period of transition.
As is the norm, the field is now being put to bed for the winter. Beds are being pulled and covered. Yet, it's no secret that 2022 and 2023 have been incredibly difficult years for me personally, and for a while I've had the itch to try something completely new. To find a new purpose, daily routine, and challenge.
I've naturally let sowing deadlines pass and I ordered no bulbs for spring despite the usually tempting catalogues - so clearly now is the right time to try something new. After all, if you never try you never know!
It's not a farewell forever, but certainly a farewell for now as I throw myself into a new and challenging career in a couple of weeks time. Perhaps, in my new (corporate) role, I'll still find the time to grow my beloved sweet peas and dahlias, and sell a bucket or two to fellow florists in my down time. I would certainly love to still have the honour of creating funeral flowers. But in reality, only time will tell.
I have a couple of weddings booked in next year (couples please don't panic I've booked annual leave ☺️). Otherwise a huge thank you to all of my customers over the past 7 years for your support, to all the couples who have trusted me with their wedding flowers, to all who have purchased bouquets. To all the FABULOUS growers and florists I now have the pleasure of calling friends, and of course the very lovely ♥️
I'm incredibly proud of what I (and family) achieved, but I'm ready for a new and exciting chapter.
Hannah

For Alan - from a devoted wife, two lovely daughters and two beautiful grandchildren. After the service I dismantled the casket arrangement for family and friends, who traveled from near and far, to take small vases of farewell flowers home in Alan's memory.
A funeral service I offer always available to those who trust me to create flowers to celebrate the life of those loved.

IXIA Botanicals
Established in 2017 by myself, Hannah-Victoria, I design and create naturalistic floral arrangements for select weddings, events and private homes, throughout the North West of England. I offer seasonal flowers for local delivery or studio collection and host a select number of private floral design classes throughout each season.
IXIA’s designs celebrate only the most enchanting and unusual flowers and foliage of each season.
My designs comprise of ingredients grown at IXIA’s productive flower farm and elements carefully selected and sourced from trusted local growers, where volume or seasonality dictates.
My passion for floral design is paired with a love for growing and a desire to provide a truly personal and exclusive service. My creations remain seasonally attuned, tonal in colour palette and romantic in nature, with shifting tones, textures and shapes to reflect the natural rhythms of the year.
