Just watched Jamie Oliver on BBC News discussing the importance of addressing dyslexia in schools! 🙌 Yes, let’s make this a key topic in the curriculum!

As someone who is dyslexic myself, I see it as a unique gift. I reached out to Jamie to share my gratitude for his spotlight on this issue. I write and illustrate my own children's stories, and for years, I've been doing free talks and workshops across Cornwall and Devon, encouraging others to believe in themselves.

Sadly, I wasn't diagnosed until a year before my GCSEs, despite my mother’s persistent concerns and the notes from my teachers. Back then, it felt like schools had a blind spot when it came to identifying dyslexia.

I’ve now built my own successful airbrushing face and body painting business, and I love writing and illustrating because I can seek help with spelling. Honestly, if you had asked me in school what I'd become, this wouldn’t have been on my radar! But I firmly believe anything is possible when you surround yourself with support and learn how to embrace being dyslexic. It truly is a gift in so many ways! 💖✨

🌼 Hey everyone! 🌼

Sorry for being a bit MIA lately! My body has been throwing me some curveballs, but with new meds in the mix, I’m feeling hopeful about turning a corner. I guess those 4-hour nights for the past 4 years (thanks to my girls!) have finally caught up with me! 😅 Shoutout to all the amazing parents out there who know exactly what I mean! ❤️

But don’t worry—I’ve been busy behind the scenes! 🎨✨ I’m working hard to launch my Walk-about airbrushing services! 🎉 My diary is filling up nicely, and I’m excited to share that my next booking is for Mother's Day weekend at Strawberry Fields for their fabulous Tulip Festival! 🌷

Here’s a little update on availability:

🚨 Hey everyone! Unfortunately, due to the windy conditions, the last day of is cancelled. From dancing pandas and cute axolotls to cool turtles and mighty dragons, we had such a blast with 's airbrush face painting and tattoos! 🎨🦄 A huge thank you to everyone who came along and joined in the fun, and for all the delightful comments from the kids. You made this week unforgettable! 🌟💨
