Did you know about the full range of services we offer with our play village?
We are completely mobile which means we can set up just about anywhere and we really have done just that! From hotels to community centres, libraries to show homes, individual houses to the middle of a field!
You can hire just one of our kits delivered to your 24 hour hire or you can book our hassle free party service where we come and set up the village for you and run the party doing as much or as little as you wish on the day.
Hosting a wedding with children? Then our wedding services are what you need as we can offer a wedding nanny for 1:1 care, set up a crèche with everything taken care of!
Looking for something different at your school, a regular visitor to enhance learning? Curriculum planned sessions delivered by a trained teacher? We have got you covered!
Children’s entertainment for your business to help enhance your footfall, to promote an event and cater for the littlest guests then we can be totally flexible in bringing the entertainment to you which promises to be highly engaging for the children and leaves the parents smiling!

Lovely feedback from last week’s party in Reading. A huge thank you for taking the time to leave a review we really do appreciate it. We have family time tomorrow and are looking forward to some downtime before loading the van ready for the next funday Sunday at The Wellington Arms for Sunday lunch. With just a handful of weekends left in 2024 for parties we are getting busy with new year dates so make sure you get your date secured by dropping us an email to plan it in… which reminds me… I need to get planning for our 2025 family birthdays and book those weekends off before they are gone! 😂

Let’s take a closer look at one of our role play areas this morning. Our vets is one of my favourite areas and we have two of them available for hire. Better than that is that for our corporate customers we can tweak our vets to have polar animals, safari animals or even dinosaurs in it instead of household pets!
Our vets role play area includes lots of cuddly animals, vets tool boxes, pet beds of assorted shapes and sizes a reception desk with a phone and X-rays and a waiting area. Just like any of our play areas it is flexible in its shape and size to fit your space and is great for encouraging empathy, imagination and communication.
You can add the vets to any package or it can be hired on its own!
It came out to play twice this weekend and is a popular choice.

We can’t wait to see what fun todays little villagers get up to! I just love the different choices that people have when they pick their party set up… it’s different every time and that is just part of the joy from letting us set up your party! With 19 different play areas to choose from and big open plan play spaces to use there really is no end to the play opportunities our village presents.

Did you know we offer our kits for hire? We can drop off just one kit or a whole village… you decide! Our kits are delivered to your door ready to be used and judging by the excitement on the faces of last night’s recipients… it’s a popular choice!
This weekend is a bumper kit hire special as we delivered 3 kits last night to one family and have a party later today to celebrate with a lovely family their child’s naming day before another batch of deliveries this evening.
You can pick and choose the kits you hire too!

All set up at @thewellingtonarms for the first Family Fun day and we couldn’t be more excited! We have lots of families booked in and joining us with two sittings over lunch. We love to get out and visit the local community and to work with community centres, churches and groups out there who are providing play spaces for children to have fun with their families. What an amazing day we had with the @lovebasingstoke team for the first Fri-YAY of the summer! We had fun with our role play supermarket, sports hero training zone and our Art studio where we were decorating wooden medals. I loved hearing the children choose which sport they would award themselves a medal for and was impressed with the throwing and balancing skills I saw them practicing. 🌞🕶️ What an awesome morning I spent with the amazing children at Rainbow Nursery today. It was an added extra to my usual monthly sessions with them to celebrate the end of term which was such a treat for me too! I loved choosing play areas that I knew the children had loved over the past year and then a fun craft for the Art Studio to make a paper plate sun with groovy shades! Watch to the end for the children’s awesome creations! Didn’t they do a good job! Thanks to all the staff and children for making me feel so welcome each time I come to play and I look forward to coming back to see you all again in September. Pop Up Play Village Reading

Welcome to our new page for Pop Up Play Village Reading. We are running play sessions and parties for children from 0-8 years old in and around the Reading area. Our role play village is designed by a qualified teacher to provide high quality play experiences for children that are both educational and fun! Our role play village features a cafe, supermarket, vets surgery, hospital, construction site, baby nursery, library, art studio and outdoor explorers areas. We pop up in village halls, community centres for our play sessions with our ‘real’ cafe providing hot and cold drinks and snacks, all competitively priced. As an Usbourne book seller you will also often see our Usbourne book stall pop up at sessions ready to be browsed.

For our parties we aim to take the hassle out of organising a party with invitations, entertainment, catering and party bags all provided, we even take the photos for you! We can pop up in a hall or even in your garden, if there is space! We can set up a party with our role play village but alternatively with bush craft activities as an outdoor themed party, there is lots of fun to be had!

We are available to be hired by schools, pre-schools and nurseries to run sessions for children and offer to run tailor made sessions or under the topic ‘when I grow up’. Our qualified early years teacher will take the children on a journey of discovery into what jobs adults do and what they involve in our play village.

We also run special Outdoor Explorer sessions focused on outdoor learning and a range of bush craft and nature exploration activities. Our staff can come to your setting and run these sessions on a regular basis. Alternatively we can come to your business and set up activities for your customers as part of our corporate hire packages.
