As we catch our breath after our busiest year to date, we’d like to wish all of our colleagues and clients a Happy New Year from all of the team at Axiom.

2024 has been our most exciting year yet, we’ve taken on some of the biggest projects we’ve ever undertaken and continued to expand the team (and the warehouse). Thanks to our full time and freelance team for all of their endless efforts throughout the year and thanks to our clients who put their trust in us.

We’ve got lots to tell you about, and some more full time roles coming, but in the meantime there’s no rest for the wicked. The next few days are busy with load outs and straight into shows and venue servicing. If we can help with anything in 2025, or if we haven’t heard from you in a while, keep in touch

We’re teaming up with Avolites to host upcoming training courses in Middlesbrough & Leeds.

As part of our ongoing training programmes we’re offering both intermediate and advanced courses. The first course in October is now online for our Middlesbrough office, with another course for the new year going live soon hosted in Leeds. Places are limited, on a first come first served basis, places are booking through the avolites website.

15th & 16th October - Intermediate
17th & 18th October - Advanced

We're Recruiting!

As the team continues to grow we have a number of new full time roles coming up in the coming weeks.

We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager & Warehouse Manager based at our Middlesbrough HQ and an Event Technician based in Leeds.

Video Project Manager/Senior Video Technician/Head of Video, depending on experience, Full Time (Leeds)
Warehouse Technician, Part Time Casual (Middlesbrough & Leeds)

clublandevents embarked on another arena tour this spring. Axiom were back for the second year providing full production management, design, lighting, rigging, video and SFX. We deployed a range of new technology including our Blackmagic 4K PPU and camera package, Tyler pre-rig truss, Chainmaster hoists and Mac Aura XIP

We supported the Red Bull Tyne Ride on the iconic Newcastle Quayside.

The epic course is the result of a collaboration between Red Bull and four-time FIM SuperEnduro World Champion and Red Bull athlete, Billy Bolt, alongside fellow Red Bull athletes Dougie Lampkin and Jonny Walker.

We deployed a range of custom structures, audio and video requirements across the length of the Tyne quayside

loosefest returned to Newcastle Town Moor last weekend with a homecoming festival hosted by Patrick Topping’s Trick label. In stark contrast to last year the sun was out and the ground was dry. There’s a great team behind this show, well done to all involved

This weekend we delivered a number of shows across a busy bank holiday weekend, including a local show with long term clients Cage Warriors. We provided a full production package for CW172 at the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle, which included a lighting, rigging, audio and video package. Thanks to our techs and warehouse team for all their work over the weekend.

We're Recruiting!

Axiom Events have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technician to join our team based out of our Middlesbrough Head Office and Warehouse.
We're looking for an experienced technician with an in depth knowledge of either lighting, audio or video who's happy to work between our warehouse and site delivering shows. You'll have the opportunity to work on a range of different shows and be happy to work alongside our Project Managers to ensure the successful onsite delivery of events.
