The Luxury Wedding fair at Hatfield House, Hatfield, Herts, AL9 5HX.

Picture is a quick glimpse inside the historic and beautiful Old Palace. Built in 1497, this stunning building is one of the foremost examples of mediaeval brickwork in the country, and its beautiful wall hangings provide the perfect backdrop for any event, whilst the breath-taking and alluring Knot Gardens provide the perfect setting for a drinks reception or break out area. The striking Old Palace is the perfect setting for a grand reception with up to 270 guests. For slightly smaller occasions, the modern Riding School, with contemporary state-of-the-art facilities, can accommodate up to 120 guests. Both venues are licensed to perform civil ceremonies so you can hold your entire day of celebrations in one beautiful location.

The Luxury Wedding Fair at The De Vere Horsley Towers, Ockham Road South, East Horsley, nr. Guildford, Surrey, KT24 6DT opens tomorrow at 11:00am.

Today we thought we'd share just a few of photos providing a glimpse of this unique and beautiful wedding venue which includes a secret chapel, beautifully tiled cloisters, and a lakeside 19th century mansion;

The Great Hall at The De Vere Horsley Towers, lends a dramatic atmosphere with its vaulted ceiling and oak-panelled walls, whereas the Sopwith Suite provides an elegant space with original features and timeless décor. Both are popular choices for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts seating up to 110 and 120 guests respectively. The Charles Barry Room sits alongside the Towers Bar making it ideal for evening receptions.

With fashion shows and leading local wedding suppliers too, this is a must visit event.

The Wedding fair is open between11am - 3pm and features local wedding suppliers.

The Athenaeum can still be used for its original purpose and is a spectacular wedding setting bursting with Georgian elegance and grandeur. The impressive Georgian Ballroom provides the perfect backdrop for a stunning wedding for 60 to 180 guests with a wonderful sweeping staircase for that unmissable fairy tale entrance.

Alternatively, the inter-connecting Lounge and The Reading Room on the first floor of The Athenaeum are full of character and charm and overlook Bury’ s Georgian square, making it the perfect setting for smaller, more intimate receptions from as few as 10 people.
