Matt & Alessandra’s Wilderness Reserve wedding was a true celebration of love, beauty and the English countryside at its finest. ✨

Over three unforgettable days in Suffolk, family and friends gathered to share in the joy. The bride looked radiant in her timeless Philippa Lepley gown, stepping out into gardens filled with the most romantic, English garden-inspired florals.

Guests sipped champagne on the lawn before moving into a beautifully styled marquee with sweeping views of the Wilderness Reserve estate. A candlelit dinner, heartfelt speeches and the kind of dancing that lasts until dawn made this celebration one to remember. With cocktails flowing and an incredible live band, it was the perfect blend of elegance and energy.

The weekend was everything a luxury countryside wedding in the UK should be – personal, timeless and unforgettable. 🌿🥂🎶

“40 today 🎂✨

I grew up in a big family where the table was always full and the door was always open. Hosting and making people feel welcome has always been second nature, probably because I never quite felt like I fitted in myself.

Back in 2016 I started Senel Besim Event Design as a little side project, and by 2018, after a tough return from maternity leave, I took the plunge and walked away from my corporate job in the City. Terrifying at the time, but it was the BEST decision I’ve ever made!

Since then, the world of weddings and events has taken me all over, from historic palaces, beautiful private homes and the most incredible country estates across the UK and Europe, working with families from all over the world. What I love most is creating celebrations where people truly feel welcome, connected and part of something unforgettable.

And along the way I’ve met the most brilliant people in the wedding industry: talented business owners with loads of creativity and passion into what they do which has been amazing and inspirational.

Excited to see what the next trip around the sun has in store!

Pretty details for our New Yorkers in London ✨
The Savile Club in Mayfair provided the most magical backdrop – a grand townhouse with gilded rooms, ornate ceilings and that sweeping staircase that makes every entrance unforgettable.

Amidst all the grandeur, it was the thoughtful details that tied everything together, delicate textures, elegant touches and a design that felt warm, personal and timeless. A celebration that perfectly balanced New York chic with London charm. 💫

THE WALLACE COLLECTION

For this New York couple, planning a London destination wedding was about creating a celebration their guests would never forget. Prosecco and canapés were served in the elegant Drawing Room Suite, where friends and family gathered, surrounded by history and beauty, before the evening unfolded into something truly magical.

Dinner was held in the Courtyard, transformed with candlelight, flowers and personal details that reflected the couple perfectly. Beneath the soaring glass roof, heartfelt speeches, incredible food and the sound of laughter filled the night, a celebration that felt both timeless and full of joy.

The Wallace Collection was the perfect setting for this unforgettable London wedding, offering a backdrop that allowed every moment of the day to shine. ✨

A few unforgettable days in London, celebrating the most beautiful love story. ✨

For this couple, London has always been a city close to their hearts. It was here they got engaged, so it felt only right to return for the most magical celebration. The weekend began with a timeless nuptial Mass at Farm Street Church, the air filled with music and candlelight, followed by romantic portraits in the leafy corners of Mount Street Gardens.

As evening fell, the celebrations moved to the enchanting Wallace Collection. Guests sipped prosecco and nibbled canapés in the gilded drawing rooms, surrounded by silk-lined walls and glittering chandeliers. Later, everyone gathered in the courtyard for a candlelit dinner beneath the iconic glass roof, with London’s twinkling lights above.

The night unfolded with exquisite food, flowing cocktails and a dance floor alive until dawn. Loved ones travelled from across the world to share in this London destination wedding, and every moment felt like stepping into a dream.

REHEARSAL DINNER AT THE WILDERNESS RESERVE

Matt and Alessandra’s rehearsal dinner at the Wilderness Reserve was such a fun start to the weekend.

Set in the Walled Garden, it was a glamorous black-tie evening with a playful twist — bangers and mash for dinner, followed by Eton Mess for pudding. Long tables were lined with gorgeous hydrangea arrangements from the florist, set beneath a beautiful stretch tent with twinkly fairy lights ✨

And the couple even flew in their favourite band — spotted on a ski trip! — who had everyone dancing into the night. A truly joyful evening and the perfect kick-off to an unforgettable wedding weekend.

My name is Senel and I am a luxury wedding planner based in Suffolk and I plan timeless, luxurious and elegant weddings across the UK and in Europe. It was after having spent many years planning corporate events that I realised I wanted to use my skills and connections to organise events that were far more personal, creative and unique. As a result of the skills I developed through my corporate career I am able to offer a calm, organised and logistical approach to wedding planning, while ensuring that every wedding is uniquely you. My experience and expertise allows me to alleviate many of the pressures that couples feel when planning their weddings.
