A few shots from my recent weekend doing the Ultimate 80’s Butlin's Big Weekenders in Skegness. Always great to relive those 80’s years alongside some very talented guys. Gary Bamford Ian Thompsett Jon Lowe Jules Little and Chris Lowrie. I could not believe how busy the weekend was and the atmosphere all weekend was out of this world! Old school partying on another level.

Ok people…. I’m calling out to reach as many of you as possible. My brother from another mother is raising money for a very good cause…

1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in the UK. That's thousands of dads, grandads, brothers, uncles, sons and mates. But it doesn't have to be this way

Long before Hedkandi a young DJ called Mark Doyle created "Back To Love" a legendary club night in West London that took place over the various Bank Holiday weekends. A few years later that night became the inspiration for one of the first and most beloved Hedkandi compilations.
This year Hedkandi are relaunching the Back To Love events. It all begins at Colonel Porters in Newcastle on Thursday April 6th with original DJs Mark Doyle, Andy Norman and friends.
Expect an evening of classic Kandi anthems from 88 onwards.

Limited to 250 tickets and featuring Hedkandi legends Mark Doyle, Andy Norman & John Jones plus Emma Frampton on Sax this is one party you won't want to miss.

This year we plan to give you large lavishly produced shows with every bell and whistle we can throw at it (just like we did at Bush Hall). Meanwhile in much smaller venues we will strip it all back and make it all about you, the music and the DJs in truly intimate, unique spaces. It also gives us the chance to showcase new talent and let the DJs play the sets they really want to play.

25 Paul Street is just our sort of venue, utterly unique, boutique and spread across 4 floors of mischief and shenanigans. We've limited tickets to 200 ish so we don't expect them to last long.

What a fantastic weekend last weekend Butlin's the 80’s in full effect. Nearly 8000 people partying all weekend long. The very best after lockdown pick me up. Incredible live acts, super friendly staff and very talented DJs. If you haven’t done one of these and you love decades of old school music, you really are missing out.
