Until we meet again ✨My lovely Grandad has gained his wings 🪽and joined my Nana. They are the reason I started By Invitationly. I created my very first invitation for their 50th wedding anniversary in 2007. The last photo was all of my grandparents at that 50th anniversary. I will be taking the next few days to spend time with my family and reminisce on what a totally awesome man our grandad was. I will reply to all DM’s & emails later in the week. Thank you D x

2023 // What a year ✨ By Invitat10nly turned 10. I was really proud of this as back in 2013 when I was made redundant I didn’t know how it would all work out. I remember in the early days people used to ask when I was going to get a “proper job” Now we are going into our 11th year. Proper pinch me moment.

My advice to anyone wanting to start a business is do it, follow your gut and learn along the way. We are all winging it. Remember social media is a highlights reel most people only publish success so never let social media make you think or believe you’re not enough. If any wants advice, support or someone to chat / vent to my DMs are always open. Community over competition always ✨

Studio Appointments // One of our unique offerings as a wedding stationer is we open our studio and workspace for you to come in and see what we do first hand. Unfortunately of late we’ve had an increase in no shows. As a small business this is hugely damaging. Our booking system is very sophisticated and you receive a reminder email and text the day before. Surely it’s not hard to call to cancel, reschedule or let us know you’re running a bit late. We had the pleasure of designing Barbie & Ken’s table plan. Obviously Barbie chose pink and well pretty much like a real wedding Ken went with it. We created a custom monogram wax seal which Barbie has kept as a keepsake. She told me she will use it on all her Christmas cards. I was happy to see they invited Midge to the party. Barbie in Cinemas now. Not an ad just a bit of fun.

It’s Me // Recently I’ve noticed so many accounts getting hacked and unfortunately Meta don’t seem to care or help. One of my close friends Gail lost her Rocks for Frocks account which she has built over 10 years. She’s had to start from scratch please give her a follow. Apparently having your face on your posts help to verify it is really you in the case of hacking. So I am going to have to start boring you with pics of me in the stationery 😂 I will try and keep them interesting.
