An incredible night of ooha and ahhs, as yesterday's guests indulged in all of the birthday girls favourite dishes. 😍

Six indulgent courses were had.

The menu called for beetroot, cheese, mushrooms and chocolate!

And of course that's exactly what she got. 🩷

Each course served with paired wines, enveloping the entire experience.

It's always a pleasure to be invited back! 😍

On Friday night we celebrated a 60th Birthday after doing his wife's 50th a couple of year ago. You may recognise their stunning dining room.

He enjoyed all of his favourite foods... Including an assemble at the table Black Forest Gateau.

"It was so nice that you just took over my kitchen and I didn’t have to do anything." – Liz

Yesterday, we had the absolute joy of helping Liz celebrate her husband’s 70th birthday. For once, she got to be a guest in her own home, and didn’t she just love it! 🥰

Surrounded by lifelong friends, it was a room full of love, laughter, and stories that only 70+ years of living (and 58 years of marriage!) can deliver.❤️

Honestly, some of the funniest and kindest people we’ve had the pleasure of serving in a long time.😅

A truly wholesome celebration for a wonderful man.😊

We left with full hearts (and sore cheeks from laughing).

A glimpse of Friday night!

Plus Three Nurseries turned 40 this month! So, as always, if you know Sue Butler she celebrated in style. 🥂Not only the anniversary but the end of the year for her and her team.

It's always a lovely thing when we support each other, not just as people but as local businesses.

All 3 of our kids started their early years with Sue and she was over the moon to have had a little surprise, with us bringing Niamh along to work her event.

Thank you Sue for being amazing. And even more so booking us in for 2026 already. 😍

David was definitely under pressure last week when we hosted a corporate BBQ. The client had opted for some of our Asian fusion menu items which we love doing but what we didn’t realise at the time was that the guests were flying in from across Asia.

As guests began to arrive, David was noticeably more nervous as he was now serving Asian fusion food to people who really knew their stuff.

But much to his relief and pride he received high praise from all the guests. The char siu pork belly, the satay chicken with noodle salad from the live cooking station, and the Malaysian chicken were particular favourites. In fact, the pork belly barely touched the table before it disappeared.

It’s safe to say David has now been certified by the region as an authentic Asian fusion chef.

Officially official. 😂

Last night, we had the pleasure of catering a 60th birthday celebration to remember.

Alfresco dining for 12, 12 bottles of champagne (and countless bottles of wine) later, the evening was nothing short of magical.

It was a night made perfect by:

✨ Wonderful company
✨ Exceptional food
✨ Flowing wine-at one point I had 2 bottles of champagne in hand as standard 😅
✨ Seamless service
✨ And even, believe it or not perfect British weather 🌞

About us

My name is David and my wife’s name is Chido, we are the owners of DaChi's Restaurant to You. Our name was born by coincidence when planning our wedding back in 2014. We needed to create a password for our wedding website and wanted it to be something that relates to us both. We decided to use the first parts of both our names and the name DaChi was born!

I have a degree in Culinary cookery and Chido in Hospitality Management. Together we have over 3 decades of both academic and practical experience within the hospitality industry, having both worked for some of the most prestigious hospitality providers. We have an undoubtable passion for great food and great service, so much so, that we have boycotted going out, due to being continuously disappointed and opted for staying in creating our own restaurant experience. We believe staying in, is the new going out!

Once we realised that there are many that feel the same as us, we asked ourselves what can we offer that is different and what do people want? And so, the ground work began on DaChi with our key emphasis being on making quality dining experiences that are personalised to you. We love to make people happy through great food and service. Nothing gives us more pride, than creating a dish from scratch, presenting it to a customer and then seeing and hearing them genuinely loving it!
