CookeryDemo.co.uk was set up in 2010 by Katy Metson to help promote volunteer-led fundraising events in aid of good causes in and around Hampshire. All of the activities undertaken in regard to organising these fun, food-related events have been given free of charge by Katy Metson. Once unavoidable expenses have been covered, all proceeds go to the chosen charities.
"Our aim is to put on events that provide patrons with a truly entertaining evening whilst raising money for deserving causes. We've been overwhelmed by the goodwill and generosity of individuals and businesses within the local community who have either volunteered their time free of charge, or provided services at reduced rates, in order for us to keep our expenditure down to a minimum so that more proceeds can go to the chosen charities. Our thanks go to everyone supporting the events - from sponsors and participants to guests attending the events."
