Huge congratulations to the team at Rogers and Norton solicitors on the opening of their new office in Dereham! These spiral columns with logo personalisation on top are a great alternative to a balloon arch as they can be moved in and out overnight, meaning that you can have them for multiple days compared to an arch which is just for a day. Plus, they are slightly cheaper as well so if used for a few days they work out to be great value for money!

How cute is this Peppa Pig number stack?! With balloon flower detailing and personalisation to make it extra special, this was extremely well received! Plus, when I returned a few weeks later with a different display for Isobel's brother, their mum informed me that Peppa was still going strong! If you want something that should last longer than helium balloons, an air filled display such as a number stack is definitely a great option.

I love that my job takes me to places that I might not have otherwise known about. This personalised bubble with a snowflake print was for a 21st birthday, and was designed so that the client's Jellycat Snowflake plush toy could be placed on the bottom. The addition of lights really added a magical feel to the family meal at Pinocchios, a beautiful Italian restaurant in St Benedicts Street, Norwich. As I drove past after delivering, the glow from the balloon through the window really was gorgeous!

The last of this week's alternative options to a balloon arch is a balloon wall. This makes a striking backdrop and can be created in a range of colours. With the colour scheme confirmed, there are extra textures and embellishments that can be added, such as plain and patterned foil balloons, confetti balloons and other options too!

Whilst more expensive than an arch, the impact of a wall is significantly greater. Plus, these can be created in differing sizes to suit the area you'd like it to be placed in.

Another alternative to an arch is a balloon hoop. These can be fully or partially wrapped with balloons and can be upgraded to include a hanging personalised disc, lights, flowers and foliage or other additions. A hoop will be a bit more expensive than an arch but looks fantastic when created in your choice of colours!

The most popular request I get is for a balloon arch. However, with so many other options available to add impact to your event with balloons, I'll be sharing 5 ideas this week of different designs that a great alternative (and in some cases work out cheaper than an arch too!)

Today's design is a 'lollipop' which stands c. 6ft tall! The disc can be personalised, making it a perfect way to add a special message or logo to the design. The balloons can be added in your choice of colours, and there is also the option to upgrade to include faux flowers and foliage, lights or other embellishments depending on your theme!

Happy New Year! While we are still in the festive period (just!), these custom printed popping balloons were supplied for a client lunch at the beautiful Maids Head Hotel in Norwich. Two balloons contained confetti to indicate a prize, and the popping wands supplied were used by the guests to see if they were one of the lucky winners!

I can't quite believe it is New Years Eve already! Life has been so busy I didn't get a chance to wish you all a very Merry Christmas (sorry!) but I really hope you were able to enjoy a few days of rest and spend time in the way you wanted.

With 2025 quickly looming, I want to say a huge thank you to all my wonderful clients for all your support this year. It has been wonderful to provide you with such varied decor and gifts for a wide range of occasions! I already have some exciting jobs booked in for the New Year, and in the next few weeks I'll be sharing some beautiful decor ideas for both private and corporate events.
