-CONFETTI GOALS-
One of our favourite parts of the day is shooting the famous confetti moment! Whether is after your ceremony or just part of the day, it is definitely one you want on film.
Here’s a few tips to know:
✨ organising - most commonly confetti is done immediately or pretty soon after the ceremony. On your day the last thing you will want just after you’ve said ‘I Do’ is to organise all your family and friends into two long lines. Let us know when we discuss your wedding day when you’d like your confetti moments and we can help organise the lines when you’re ready, with your groomsmen, bridesmaids and photographer!
✨ make sure everyone has confetti and you have enough of it! This is one of those occasions where “too much” is probably just enough. Also place your confetti somewhere where your guests can easily grab a cone or handful so they can be ready to take part.
✨ trust us & your photographer. We will talk before your day to plan out the rough ideas and when the right time is to have your confetti moments.
✨ walk slow and enjoy the moment. We’re filming in slow-mo and usually we’re standing in front of you as you walk through the tunnel. You’ll be showered in confetti with your guests cheering and celebrating you and when you watch it back you’ll be right in that moment.
✨ where you can look into eco-friendly confetti. Bigger confetti gives more effect but natural is best for our big old world. There are so many eco-friendly versions of confetti that looks just as pretty. Also always check with your venue as some have restrictions to what types of confetti you can use and where - so always check with them.
✨ smile and be in the moment! Yes confetti tunnels are magical! But you do also have many things flying at and around your face (also occasionally bangs from confetti cannons…) which can occasionally steal your attention and loose your happy smiles. For the best shots in your film and photos try and keep smiling - or else laughing 🤣
