Personal post.

Sadly a few days before Christmas my father in law passed away. My kids hadn’t experience grief before and my husband had lost his dad 😢. We were all comforted that he hadn’t been alone and there have been so many well wishers and kind words.

It was a huge honour to create a coffin spray for his funeral this week which was well attended by friends and family of many generations. The arrangement has since been placed on the grave stone of another family member x

This time last year I stepped out of my comfort zone and commenced my journey with as a franchise owner. I’d enjoyed playing with the flowers I’d grown at home but taking my hobby to a new level coupled with owning a business for the first time was nerve wracking 😬

I shouldn’t have worried as the training and support was amazing and my marketing background has helped massively. I’ve met some fantastic people and as first years of owning a business go, it’s been pretty special.

I’ve loved flowering your weddings and have plenty booked for 2025 to keep me busy. The Christmas install at was a huge highlight and helping so many of you create Christmas wreaths was also really special.

Very soon I’ll be collecting the keys to my own workshop just ten minutes from home as I’ve already outgrown the space here.

So excited about what else 2025 brings. Thanks for all the support. Big flowery loves, Michelle x

As 2024 draws to a close I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey this year. It’s almost a year to the day I commenced on my floral pathway and can’t believe how far I have come. I couldn’t have done this with out the believe and support of others and it’s been so wonderful to be part of so many of your special occasions. Lots of exciting plans for 2025 and I’ll share details of this soon ###

Tomorrow we’ll be adding the finishing touches to the Wizard of Oz install at before we commence a huge series of wreath workshops, Christmas markets and a very festive wedding! Such a busy few weeks. Bring on the mince pies!

Today I visited Tatton Park in Cheshire, a National Trust property where in November, for four days Leafy Couture Craven & East Lancs will transform the Mansion House into the Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, by L Frank Baum was published in 1900. Dorothy, a small girl from Kansas, who alongside her dog Toto, is swept away by a tornado to the strange and magical Land of Oz. Her quest to return home leads her to new friends and on fantastical adventures.

I am so excited for this huge opportunity. Over 20, 000 people are expected to visit in the six weeks the display will be open and I can’t wait to share more detail over the next few weeks.

Some prices may vary due to refreshments being provided.

We have limited availability for private wreath classes at a venue of your choice. Please DM your request. We can bring all the materials and equipment to you and even clean up afterwards!
