What a fantastic we had at our last promotion for 2024. Cotgrave was super super busy but we handled it likes pros!

A big thank you to everyone who attended for working with us as we worked through new health & safety legislation at the venue that we wasn’t notified of prior to the day of the event.

We hope everyone had a great day and thank you for your continued support

A huge thank you as always to our lovely adjudicators, LDA staff and all you fabulous teachers.

Our first FRC event of 2024 is almost sold out on provisional bookings. If you would like to join us don’t delay in popping your name down alongside estimate numbers- you can not go o we estimates without checking first.

Sunday 17th November entertainment centre NG12 3PJ

Doors open 9am (but you know what I’m like, if we are set and ready to go we will get them open earlier)

Order of the day is
fast solos with spots for champs/prems. Fast pairs with spots for champs
Slow solo with spots for champs/prems, street solo and finishing with rock n roll which includes our grown up & child section.

It’s a super busy day but as usual we set to keep it flowing, fun and stick to an early finish time.

Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow (and not falling over 😉)

This competitions is a sell out every year. I take provissional booking and then end up with everyone asking for and extra 5/10/15/20- plus tickets which then over sells us.

I am now taking bookings however I will be asking for provissional numbers which can not go over unless confirmed, I hate to to over sell but also need to learn to say no lol

So if you’d like to join us for our first ADFP event of 2025. Let me know so I can pop you down now to avoid disappointment.

What a day yesterday at our Shire Championship day. After a week of fab news the universe said that was enough for me lol

Arriving at the venue 7am to set up only to find it locked up and unable to get in contact with management we finally got in an hour and a half late. I can not thank my team and all schools attending for their hard work, sportsmanship and team work. We got set up quickly and got the day started.

I took a nasty fall just as the gates were opening which had damaged my knee (off to hospital for check up this morning) again though the support given to me was phenomenal.

Our scrutaneering system packed up but thankfully we had a second system …. Yup you guessed it that crashed. Our scrutineer had a lot of work to do by hand but what fantastic experience for our shadow scrutaneer dealing with problems that can arise. A true shadow experience haha

6 events, a busy day, late start and still finish for 6pm though it felt like 24 hours hahaha

From the bottom of my heart ❤️ thank you to each and everyone involved in seeing the day through. Thank you for all the positive feedback and thank you for all the messages of concern re my injury. Will keep you updated.

URGENT TODAYS COMP

We have had problems getting into the sports hall this morning. Infact we are not even in yet!

I’ve managed to get hold of the manager who is on the way to open up however it does mean we will be late starting.

As soon as chairs are out we of course will let everyone in to start getting ready whilst we set up the sound system but could you please put a message out to all your attendees of this issue which is out of my control.

No need to rush, take a coffee break etc. I estimate a 10/10.30 start
