With under a week until entries close on 2nd September, I've got to say I'm not overly happy with the response so far. We're over 30 players short of entries required to make it worthwhile. I thought having less dates more spaced out would make more people turn up. Apparently not...

I know there's a lot going on in people's lives and the darts world, but I do an awful lot. I do it for many reasons; one being I'm well supported when I ask for help with the things I try and do. If that's not happening, it's easy for me to think about walking away, that's for sure...

Remember, there is no barrier to entry. Any players from any team, male or female and any age. You simply just have to be available on the dates the competition will be played and willing help a really good cause. And if you win through just two evenings of play, you will find yourself playing on stage in front of a packed out Victory Inn...
