The first ever National Florist Day on 8th June 2024. Proud to be present in business on this special day for our worldwide Flower Magicians. I knew I wanted to work with flowers from a young age. My love for the outdoors and nature was instilled in me through my parents growing up. oh, and I love a good faff! 😂 Which is probably what makes me good at what I do, (let’s not mention the perfectionist streak!) lol.
It was important for me to be Certified, and I throughly enjoyed my year at college whilst being a mum to my toddler, and achieving high grades showed me that I was on the right track creatively and I truly do believe that u either ‘have it’ or ‘you don’t’.
So I feel very blessed, although the real learning starts on the job, ..7 years in, already a dodgy thumb joint from hand ties and I’m forever growing and it’s never ending which keeps my lil brain stimulated for sure. Making people happy with what I do, makes me happy.
Here’s to all my fello Flower Queens that enjoy creating with Mother Natures Creations …. What a beautiful trade to work in.
