Tonight the 1920's and the Chicago 'Flamingo' nightclub came to the great Driftwood Spars at St Agnes.

A large audience and two restaurants to act in kept the cast of MBA on their toes, with each scene being acted twice and the audience feedback clearly told us that theyloved it. Working with an enthusiastic audience created a wonderful atmosphere, and so many of the audience had dressed for the occasion in 1920's attire. Wonderful!!
Thanks for playing your role in making the evening such a success. Also a big thanks to Liam and his team for the slick service and superb food on offer.
Already booked for a 2025 return.

Another cracking good 'Chicago Gangster' night is on its way at tonight's sell-out performance at the wonderful Driftwood Spars at St Agnes.
All we now await is the arrival of the audience and the cast of MBA will again swing into action with another mystery to solve.
Last night it was the 1960's and tonight a change of decade and plot and some cast changes to move into the 1920's and the 'Flamingo Club Murder'.

Another appreciative audience had a great night trying their best to determine who might have been the murderer on tonight's murder mystery special.
Many very complimentary written comments as usual and lots of laughs during the questioning of suspects!!
Another very busy year is coming to an end with excellent audiences attending our evenings.
Tomorrow night we are heading west for another sell-out evening at the Driftwood Spars at St Agnes.

Here we go again!!! The first of our murder mystery evenings for this weekend sees us back for our second Xmas special on the Bodmin Steam Railway.
Train carriages and the platform brilliantly decorated for the Xmas period and even a special Mulled Wine tented bar (the white one) has been erected for the passengers use.
Another large audience will be arriving shortly and no doubt another excellent evening's entertainment will take place.

Tonight saw MBA performing at their fourteenth new venue for this year, each of which have been added to our already very large portfolio of venues accumulated over many years.
Tonight we visited the lovely Hotel Vara in Truro for a private murder mystery corporate evening.
The feedback at the end of the evening confirmed the audience loved every minute of both the performance and the venue. Thanks to everyone involved in the evening.

Tonight saw the first of a trilogy of murder mystery evenings on the Bodmin Railway leading up to the Xmas break. A large audience watched a 1960's spy plot unfold with the surprise of finding two bodies at the end of the evening!!!
A very appreciative audience gave both the MBA cast and the railway excellent written praise on their answer forms at the end of the evening. Another very successful evening had by all.
There are two remaining THURSDAY night murder mysteries still to come on the 12th and 19th of December. Book your tickets early for an exciting evening of investigation.

What a fantastic time MBA has had tonight on its second return visit for 2024 to the Trenithick Mount Hawke Residents Association Community Hall..
As on our last visit earlier this year an audience of over 70 waited to test their detective skills on one of our murder mystery evenings. Nearly all of the audience were dressed in costumes associated with Film and TV characters and the whole evening was a great success.
The atmosphere was electric and this must be possibly one of the most enthusiastic and friendly audiences you could ever play to. Thanks Mount Hawke for making it a tremendous evening for our MBA cast and your hospitality and friendship was superb. Thank you very much.

Murder by Appointment has been the trend setter in Cornwall and the west of England with Murder mystery events since June 1992 and still we venture where others haven't tread!!!
Tonight we performed a Poldark murder mystery evening with yet another 'first' with the evening production taking place underground in the Carnglaze Caverns near St Neot. Having checked it appears this has never been done underground before.
Tickets for this event were sold out three months ago and tonight MBA performed to a really great bunch of 'super sleuths'. Lots of applause and cheering came during the evening and the victim had their fair share of boos!!! Thanks to the wonderful audience for their contribution towards making the evening at another new venue an amazing success. Your comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks to the Carnglaze team. You were a pleasure to work with.
We've been told that return dates will be booked for 2025, so watch this space!!!
No rest for the wicked as tomorrow night we head west for another sell-out evening!!! 2024 is without doubt going to be another hugely successful year and thanks to all of our regular and many new venues for being part of our success story.

ONLY TWO DAYS TO THIS FANTASTIC EVENING!!
THIS FRIDAY 29th SEES US PERFORMING IN THE MAGNIFICENT VENUE THAT IS THE CARNGLAZE CAVERNS AT ST NEOT.
It would appear that the Murder by Appointment cast will become the first actors in the UK to perform a murder mystery evening below ground!!

The magnificent Caverns at Carnglaze this Friday night will see a truly great murder mystery thriller enacted surrounding the Poldark and Warleggan families from the late 18th century.
A huge audience is booked in for this thrilling event and as can be seen below, tickets were sold out three months prior to the date!!
MBA can guarantee you an evening to remember!!
