In case you missed it on Dice, WhatsApp and Facebook last week, this BEAST of an event is happening on Friday 29th November in the updated venue at New River Studios.

Tickets are already selling very quickly for a big night of heavy and hard-hitting riffs, crunchy bass grooves and noise.

Epic post-metal legends Hundred Year Old Man headline, joined by noise rock duo Kulk, Scottish post-metal and sludge band Codespeaker (I've been obsessed with their self-titled album for weeks), and London noise-drone 5-piece ian (I've always got time for cello-based noise rock).

Find all the latest info on our website. Don't waste time grabbing your tickets.

Credit to True Spilt Milk Designs for the gorgeous artwork. Thanks to Red Crust Promotions and Upsurge Artists.

What a gorgeous evening! Massive well done to kariti and Seaming To for such stunning and inspiring performances and thanks to everyone for supporting my new venture as Kunal Singhal Music (ie my name).

It was awesome to see such a diverse range of appreciative and enthusiastic people gathered under The Harrison. You're all awesome, thanks for filling the room with such love. Big thanks to Pride Management and Lay Bare Recordings for making it happen.

It's staggering how lucky we all are to have a chance to see breathtakingly exceptional composer Seaming To at a free intimate concert downstairs at The Harrison tomorrow.

You can read about her collaborations with internationally acclaimed major artists of all genres, her work for film, national theatre and dance, and her background in her Artist Profile on the Blog section of our website.

“Seaming’s vocal styling is impressively kaleidoscopic; haunting at times, vulnerable at others offering a desolate calm...both a moving and virtuoso conversion.” - Clash

“An astonishing vocalist of haunting emotional power” - The Guardian

“One of the most captivating and unclassifiable performers on the scene.” - Financial Times

“Seaming To has an extraordinary presence, and creates songs as delicately nostalgic as an old photo” - Daily Telegraph

"The voice of the 21st century...” - BBC Radio One

“..is an intriguing artist..” - Timeout

“Whatever elusive or strange thing Seaming To might be, the experience she offers you is always a thrilling one” - The Quietus

“An album of eccentric compositions and significant emotional depth” - Pitchfork

Find her Artist Profile at the bottom of our home page, and do book one of the remaining free or donation tickets to see her with kariti and Kunal Singhal tomorrow on Dice.

Most of you who've attended Chaos Theory events over the last 12 years will have met the legend that is Alan Pride! But do you know EVERYTHING about how much he does for independent, contemporary and underground music?

Apart from being the longest running team member of Chaos Theory (except for me!), many of you will have also met and worked with him around the world in various roles as Pride Management, working with legends including Jo Quail, Undersmile and Coma Wall over the years.

In his newest role as UK manager for Lay Bare Recordings, he also worked alongside kariti to make her debut UK tour happen. He's already working on big ideas to bring their amazing artists to us islanders and to take more UK artists over to Europe.

He's always willing to help just because he can, he's great at connecting good people, and he's been a friend, support and a great wealth of experience to bounce ideas around with. Chaos Theory events wouldn't be as good as they are without him being involved (and everyone he works with does better because of his influence). I'm really excited to see what he's going to do with Lay Bare Recordings.

Show him ALL the love and respect.

This is going to be a treat! Earlybird tickets are now on sale to enjoy a superbly named musical tribute to one of the most unique and idiosyncratic directors of our generation, which you can find on the CT website.

In case you've been living in a submarine for the last 20 years, Wes Anderson is the auteur behind the iconic films The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Royal Tenenbaums, Moonrise Kingdom, Isle of Dogs and many more.

Now you can sit back and experience the music of these iconic films live, from the original score music to some of the amazing and obscure needle drops, all performed by a five-piece multi-instrumentalist band led by composer/director Adam Znaidi (ex-The Physics House Band).

This is a seated event. Wes Banderson - The Music Of Wes Anderson will play two sets with an interval in between..

Signature Brew Blackhorse Road is a fully accessible venue. Thanks to Atonal Music Agency.

I'm also loving seeing Adam Znaidi stretch his musical limits with all of his ideas over the years, ever since I discovered The Physics House Band at the first ArcTanGent Festival in 2013 and couldn't take my eyes off his phenomenal bass skills. Wes Banderson will be making use of the screen to display animations and clips while they play the scores to perfection. It's going to be a lovely way to wind down a big weekend, so I'm really excited about this one.

Recommended gig of the day. 7pm doors, music from 7.30-10.30.

I'm on stage tonight from 7.30pm at 229, supporting the supremely and diversely talented musicians who make up KYROS and An Endless Sporadic (over from the USA).

You can still get tickets on Dice (a few quid cheaper) during the afternoon and there'll be some available on the door as well.

I'm going to improvise with some new ideas that I'll continue to explore at my next gig. Would love to hear what you think as always.

Thanks to London Prog Gigs for including me in another great line-up. See you tonight!

Hey everyone

Super bloody excited to share this beautiful artwork for 15 Years Of Chaos next March (as well as one more sneaky announcement)!

We are incredibly lucky to have the awesome mind, eyes and hands of artist, illustrator and sorceress Daniella Batsheva (Kerrang!, Dead Sky Publishing), casting her spells over this one.

On my way to hear glorious triple-header Iress, SUNNATA and healthyliving at The Black Heart in Camden.

What a stunning line-up, hope some of you can make it.

It's been absolutely amazing to watch ArcTanGent grow into what it is now, after that first time in a field with hundreds of you friends from the UK post-rock and math rock scene in 2013. That's where I discovered Poly-Math and so many others. And that first And So I Watch You From Afar headline show 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

So many memories, so many great bands, so many friends. This is their most insanely awesome line-up ever and I personally recommend seeing almost everything on there! Shout out to those on there who've played at Chaos Theory events in the past: Author & Punisher, IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT, Karin Park, Colossal Squid/Adam Betts Drums, Codex Serafini, Teeth Of The Sea, Hundred Year Old Man, Richard Knox / A-Sun Amissa, Wyatt E. and ANTA Band.

Everyone needs to check out Julie Christmas, Amenra, TORPOR, MODERN TECHNOLOGY, God Alone and Fange. And the rest TBH.

Have a smasher everyone! Kunal

There was so much great stuff that I missed, but my personal highlights of SUPERNORMAL last weekend were:

Anamnesis (incredible projection mapped visuals by Isadora Darke and Rachel Goodyear, soundtracked by AJA and special guests including Conny Prantera/The SeeR. Extra points to Isadora Darke for live mixing visuals beautifully when audio-reactive tech stopped working)

Michael (always deliver a fun af time, extra points for making crowd go ballistic but simultaneously chill out enough to let little kids crowdsurf safely)

My Blood Is My Voice (a powerful neurodivergent non-binary vocal collective that moved everyone to tears. Watch out for their guided vocal, percussion and loop workshops)

Official: Lydia Lunch spoken word and Q&A with Natalie Sharp was empowering, inciteful, insightful and hilarious in equal measure

Fashion Tips (fun and awesome)

CHEWY SHE (brilliantly hilarious experience)

Rrose (superb techno)

The F**k Pigs (great original mixing and mega fun)

Lou Barnell (a beautiful artistic mélange of performance, vocals, dance and sculpture)

Infinity Livez (ex-Big Dada/now DIY MC with cockney grime vibes, vocal and flute loops)

Marlene Ribiero - well-known by many of my friends, but someone I'm quite late to the party in truly appreciating. An artist whose work I enjoyed in different incarnations and one to follow for any of you who are new to her

Smote (hypnotic)

Slagheap (hilarious punk at its punkest)

Also shout out to the Q***f Cult - I love everything that they're about

There were loads of others I caught bits of or just missed due to full venues or bad timing, so feel free to message or comment with a link/tag if you can about any others you loved. Generally, the entire Supernormal experience is truly the epitome of bringing all cultures and subcultures together to create a high-quality collective community experience, so there's not really anything you'd see or hear there that wouldn't be amazing and enlightening.

Thanks for a great weekend everyone. - Kunal x

Each purchase includes a free download code for a track by awesome industrial electronic singer and musician Riotmiloo.

Your support means everything. Thanks to everyone who's already pre-ordered one of these.

And don't worry, wearing this shirt does not oblige you to give up your hard-earned front row spot! 😂😂

Maybe I'll see some of you there for some fresh top-class electronic audio and visual mastery by Waterflower, Leg Puppy 2.0, The Frixion and An Ting. I'll be aiming to get there for An Ting's opening set, after seeing the video I just shared in my Stories.

Apparently you can DM Lucida Records for tickets, or just find them on WeGotTickets. Looks good ja?

New concert announcement! Proud to be in cahoots with Lay Bare Recordings and Pride Management to bring you the UK debut of dark folk artist kariti, in the intimate setting of The Harrison's downstairs venue.

Support comes from deliriously good avant-pop composer Seaming To and from vocal loop artist Kunal Singhal Music.

There are fewer than 50 spots, so book on Dice from free to £30, depending on what you can afford. All profits split between kariti and Seaming To.

See some of you then 🖤🖤🖤

Chaos Babble

We’re a London-based promotion collective that has been producing events and promoting artists of all kinds of emerging and underground genres since 2010. We're trying to get great new music out there with DIY gigs and organised promotion.

Originally founded by Kunal Singhal, moving to London on 29th January 2010 and holding the first event on 3rd February, Chaos Theory has grown into a team effort, fuelled by an increasing amount of freelancers, creatives, industry professionals and concert addicts, all of whom have insisted on helping support the ideal of giving independent musicians as professional an experience as possible, while inviting complete concert newbies and seasoned gig junkies to discover their next favourite artists without any judgement. See who’s who in the list below.

The community of a dedicated core of supportive regulars, the wider circle of well-wishers and scene-sters, and the people who support us online and from afar, has been vital in building up a promotion that actually serves to bring artists and curious fans together. We are everything together, so thanks to every one of you who has attended our events and helped to spread the word. We’re all about passion and don’t care for snobbery, so even if you’ve never seen a band play live ever in your life, come and join us and we’ll make you feel welcome. If you come alone and want to hang out alone in the shadows, we’ll respect that, and we’re always here for you if you want to chat. You can also find friends to go with on the Chaos Theory gig lovers group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/212680832591501) if you’re keen to try but don’t want to go alone.

We want to remove any reason for you not to come, if you want to check out a certain event, so have been taking a lot of feedback about how to make accessibility information available, letting people know what to expect at each venue. This has been entirely informed by attendees, so if you think there’s something else we could do to keep our events as open, safe and inclusive as possible, please drop us a message. If you don’t come to an event because you aren’t free or definitely won’t like the music, fair enough. If you might want to go but don’t know if your needs will be looked after at the venue, then we’ve failed. We just want people to discover the amazing music that’s being made nowadays, without anything getting in the way. You can check out our events and see what grabs you here: https://www.facebook.com/ChaosTheoryLondon/events Live recordings of our gigs: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSjGdc2cJE17UDbQMTVBePAeJrihtuKOI Gig photos: https://www.facebook.com/ChaosTheoryLondon/photos_albums
