Well this is exciting!!

We are pleased to announce this weekend (just in time for our first competition!!) our cafe is reopening under new management with a new name!! 🤩

THE FEED SHED at RGE is being taken over by the same wonderful team who also run and (which if you came to our Christmas market was serving some delicious bar drinks!) 🍻🥂

Open to walkers and cyclists as well as our lovely equine visitors, offering a range of delicious hot food, cakes, drinks and other refreshments. We’ll update with full opening hours very soon but for now the cafe is open every weekend and self service refreshments are available 7 days a week. 🍽️

We are excited to welcome Karyn and her team to our RGE family! 🦄

💛🌻 I have a very special announcement to make 🌻💛

I am delighted to be partnering with Gold Geese Charity to host an incredible evening at Writtle Sunflowers 🌻 SunflowerFest 2024 🌻

This Summer, I will be hosting a fabulous party at the most famous sunflower field in Essex, Writtle Sunflowers for all local families who have children fighting cancer 💛

I have invited the incredibly talented Maddie Cole: Singer / The Driveway Diva to perform LIVE 🎤 🎶 along with the insanely creative Trudles Doodles - Face Painter who will be painting faces! Karyn, owner of The Tin Canteen will be providing refreshments. We also have a PIZZA VAN! Lauren at Forever Events - The Ultimate Party Co. is providing a beautiful Welcome sign and party decor for the entrance and marquee.
We also have guest appearances by Princesses 👸🏼 and the Amazing Spiderman! 🕸️ We also have a Horse and Carriage ride!!

We have local photographers joining us including Alana Jane Photography, Edge Photography, Photography by Bromsgrove, myself too, Kerry Green Photography to document all the excitement. There will be family portrait opportunities as well as photos with the princesses, Spiderman and horse & carriage ride. All of this plus extra surprises on the day.

We're almost exclusively catering at private events until mid August. Last night we drove to the beautiful Chaucer Barn in Gresham, Norfolk to provide evening sustenance for friends and family of Emily and Tito. It was a beautiful crowd and a beautiful evening, and our crepes and toasties went down a treat!

2019 is on a roll, the evenings are getting lighter and it's time to look forward and make plans If you've got an event coming up this year then get in touch asap as our dates are filling up fast! Whether you're organising a school fete, creating a festival or planning the wedding of the year our crepes, bubble waffles and ice cream shakes will be the perfect addition!

New Years Eve is our last day in Bond Street, Chelmsford and what a month it's been! It's your last chance to pop along and get your fill of our delicious freshly cooked crepes and waffles, indulge in an ice cream shake or try one of our brand new grilled cheese toasties! Reds Catering / Reds Tasty Brats will be cooking up a storm as well as offering the last chance to get some yummy Chocolate Kisses, Beachbox Cafe will be keeping the caffeine flowing with their bespoke coffees and hot chocolates and why not start the NYE pre drinking early at Chin Chin Mobile Cocktail Bar who will be serving their delicious tipples for the last time this year! Plus of course, the ice rink is still available for a quick spin See you there, and roll on 2019! 🥂🥳🎉🍾🎆

There's all kinds of weird and wonderful things going on in Bond Street leading up to Christmas. These guys were incredible!

After several years in a stressful job along with raising 3 daughters, I found myself in the very fortunate position of being able to realise a dream. Throwing caution to the wind it was goodbye job (but not daughters, they just won’t take the hint!) and The Tin Canteen was born. We serve delicious sweet and savoury crepes, tempting bubble waffles and indulgent ice cream milkshakes from our unique and eye catching retro rocket van. If that all sound a bit sweet we’ve also added grilled cheese sandwiches made with a blend of three cheeses and rosemary butter, ideal for a party! We’re available for all public events, weddings, corporate events and private parties.
