SATURDAY! (Not Friday as on the poster)

An opportunity for a pre-Christmas dance, meet up and make new friends.
Soft drinks only, no alcohol is allowed in the building.
This will be a mixed aged gathering and the theme for the party is kindness. Unkindness or abuse will not be tolerated.

This should be a nice break from all the pressures of Christmas, wrapping gifts etc. and time to mix with new people.

Donations to help the hard work that Blonde Angels do for the homeless are welcome, and should be given to Warren Howell, Ann Marie Poles or Lynsey Wyborn

Disco party on 21st at 4a Amberley Rd. Open to anyone lonely, over 50 who likes a bit of a dance, or the chance to meet others. If anyone can bring small gifts for the homeless people attending, that too would be lovely, even just a small bar of chocolate is welcome. If you fancy popping in, please let me know. Many thanks

Hello everyone, I'm kind of asking for your help!
On 21st December I'm helping at a charity event for homeless people, elderly and lonely people. It's being organised by a group of friends who help these people on a day to day basis and thought it would be nice to give them some Christmas spirit. So, there will be food and drink and the disco for entertainment.
I am asking if you would like to come along too, as I know some of you will be missing my AgeUK and Redcatch discos, so come along, meet new people. It's free to join in, but if you can bring anything a homeless person might like/need that would be lovely. Or a donation instead of a ticket. If you'd like to come, please let me know by commenting on this post, thank you. It is essential that we know number so we don't exceed the limit for the venue. Need to be 50+ by the way!
There will be a collection of items for the homeless, e.g. toiletries, gloves, warm socks, scarves, any clothing, so if you can help, please bring along with you.
Please let friends and family know about this, so please tell them, and/or share this post

The disco will be from 4pm til 6, at 4a Amberley Road Cafe, Church Stoke Lodge BS34 6BU (Patchway)

I apologise for lack of feedback of late but I have been busy.
Firstly, do you remember that I have joined the presenting team at Keynsham local radio station KTCRfm? I do a 1 hour show of Soul, funk & disco music at 8pm on Monday nights, repeated Saturdays at 8pm. It’s called ‘Radio Dancefloor’ what do you think of that name? I am continuing my disco’s for FAB (Friends Ageing Better) which are run by Age UK, and similar events at Redcatch Gardens (near Broadwalk) which are run independently. Don't forget there's one tomorrow, 8th November at 6pm.
These events have been very popular - so much so that I was asked back in April to travel to Galway in Ireland to do a similar event.
I have also been booked for a big wedding anniversary and an 80th Birthday, both events very much in keeping with the music I play.
All this culminated in me being hired to do a wedding in Westbury-on-Trym at the weekend.
Coming up:-
8th Nov - FAB Disco at St Werburgh’s Community Centre 6:30 ‘till 9:00
and
15th Nov Redcatch Garden similar timeframe.

Connecting Communities in Keynsham, Saltford, the Chew Valley district and a large swathe of North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and East Bristol.
