Well... what can we say! What an absolutely amazing day.

We absolutely have to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended meetings, hosted stalls, provided food, drink, amusements, entertainment, music, created and dressed floats, volunteered to marshal, donated raffle prizes, volunteered their time - the village united together and it was nothing short of wonderful.

We have to give a huge thank you to our event sponsors G. Seller, Louise Richardson Photography, Kingfisher farm antiques collectables & salvage centre, Heart of England Co-op Food and especially to Cobley Transport, John Brindley Transport Limited and Sapcote Garden Centre for your generosity and time.

We must also thank Stoney Stanton Carnival Committee for your support, assistance and endless patience when it came to answering our questions! A huge thank you to Jack from Sharnford Parish Council who singlehandedly hosted the coconut shy, we are so grateful.

Thank you to all for your kind words and feedback, and to all those who volunteered to come forward to support Sapcote Carnival 2025.

National Volunteers’ Week

We want to take this opportunity to give a BIG shout out to the thousands of volunteers doing all kinds of wonderful things to help improve the lives of people in our district. Volunteers are often juggling already busy lives, so a big thank you to each and every one of you!

Congratulations to Tillie for winning the Sapcote Parish Council Carnival brochure competition!

This Saturday the Carnival is just 4 weeks away!! We are gearing up with the final preparations, and we are getting excited!!

Our Sapcote Carnival brochure, should be dropping through your doors shortly which will give you all the information you need for the day.

There will be some speed, parking restrictions and a road closure to support our float procession, more details of which will be communicated in the brochure.

A letter to each effected household will also go out closer to the time.

Sapcotians!!! Your carnival needs you! We are in need of people to volunteer two hours (ish) of their time on Saturday the 22nd of June to help marshal our float procession.

Without sufficient numbers, the float procession route will either have to be reduced, or possibly cancelled completely.
