Flashback to Warrington Arts Festival back in July. We curated a host of family entertainment for an extra special Family Garden Party in Palmyra Square Gardens.

We premiered our new outdoor show The Queen of Hearts, collaborated with Warrington Young Producers who curated a variety show celebrating local young talent, invited our favourite dragon and unicorn from Wunderous Funderstorm and created over 100 bird headresses with families who were all invited to a birdy disco finale in our Birdcage.

It was a joyous day and great to meet Hikapee circus who were also there with their beautiful show "Everywhere's a Beach"

We had a glorious time at Topsy Turvy Theatre Porto yesterday performing our beloved Cartoon Capers.
The sun shone and the day was filled with joy, laughter and magic.

Thanks so much for having us, it felt like a much needed breath of fresh air during these difficult times.

Well what can we say... Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival we had a blast! Thanks to all the people who came to the see us in the Walled Garden, to those who laughed with us, shared new family memories and came back to find us again.

Huge gratitude to our ever growing circus family and to all the hard work, joy and magic each and every person brings with them to make the Birdcage stage what it is.

We shared a lot of new work this year and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Did you catch our new circus spectacle The Queen of Hearts? Or maybe you happened on our riotious birdy rock band The Corvids. Did you rave with Nana Funk or get wowed by the exotic aerial twins seeing double!

Applications are open now for young people from Warrington to perform inside our giant Birdcage as part of the Wonderland Garden Party on 21st July.

We’re delighted to be teaming up with Warrington young producers who will be curating a special programme celebrating the talent of young performers in Warrington

We’re excited to announce we’ll be bringing The Birdcage Stage to Warrington Arts Festival on Sunday 21st July for a magical garden party. We’ll be premiering our new show “Wonderland” along with a special programme of live music and variety acts curated by Warrington Young Producers. Expect a whole host of wonderful entertainment for all the family including walkabout characters, circus performance and a whole lot of joy!

As the light begins to return, its now time for us to take down the birdcage from the space - but all the love to everyone who has come down to our installation and events, and especially to everyone who made a winter wish on the wing of a bird.
