Applications are open now for young people from Warrington to perform inside our giant Birdcage as part of the Wonderland Garden Party on 21st July.
We’re delighted to be teaming up with Warrington young producers who will be curating a special programme celebrating the talent of young performers in Warrington

Warrington Arts Festival
We’re excited to announce we’ll be bringing The Birdcage Stage to Warrington Arts Festival on Sunday 21st July for a magical garden party. We’ll be premiering our new show “Wonderland” along with a special programme of live music and variety acts curated by Warrington Young Producers. Expect a whole host of wonderful entertainment for all the family including walkabout characters, circus performance and a whole lot of joy!

As the light begins to return, its now time for us to take down the birdcage from the space - but all the love to everyone who has come down to our installation and events, and especially to everyone who made a winter wish on the wing of a bird.

The fabulously talented Leila Chebbi Chris Davies and Collen Chandler have been working with local schools to record stories, songs, soundscapes and memories through a series of creative workshops.
The recordings will be used to create a magical soundtrack as part of the installation.
You can experience the installation for free at the Palm House between 11th-22nd December

We had a wonderful time at the Palm House Sefton Park today for our first creative workshop as part of our artist residency.
Thanks to Alison Words for delivering such a beautiful and emotive creative writing session and to all the people who came along to take part.
