I want to talk about about inclusivity. The UK wedding industry is renowned for its elegance and tradition, yet I believe, as many others do, that there remains a significant gap in representation and inclusivity.
I think it’s essential to recognise and celebrate everyone who makes up the fabric of modern weddings, and put more focus on inclusive weddings as vendors - and that's a job we have to do better!
I've written a bit more about it over on the blog, but please take this as a plea for all wedding vendors, including myself to try harder!

I've been on my sustainability high horse for a few weeks - let's round it off with a collection from H & A's big day - where all the flowers were sourced locally, and sustainable floristry was a big focus 🌍️
We really went all in on the wildflower look, which resulted in the most beautiful, vibrant colour palette , and gorgeously unstructured arrangements and bouquets 💐
The ribbons finished off the look on the bouquet beautifully, and the florals fitted the grounds of the venue so perfectly!

Is sustainability important to you? 🤔
It's an issue always spoken about, but for me it is very important, especially in the flower industry. I do what I can to minimise Wildflower & WIllow's environmental impact, and sometimes that does mean a little extra cost, rather than easy, cheap materials, but I think it's a worthwhile price to do our bit for our planet - it's all little steps right? 🥰
At Wildflower & Willow I use locally grown, Scottish seasonal flowers as much as possible, to reduce, and even stop entirely purchasing flown in flowers 💐
For any installs that require mechanics and structure I use reusable or biodegradable materials, and avoid the use of plastics wherever possible 🖐️
All my packaging is recycled, recyclable or reusable, including little details like my seeded paper tags for your bouquets 🌱
