2 0 2 4 // O V E R & O U T // I wanted to thank all my incredible brides and clients for your immense support for the past year! It’s been a quiet one for Stephanie Kate on the work front and I’d like to take more time out this year too while my littles are so small. I have a very limited diary for alterations which is almost fully booked so please don’t leave it too late. The diary is closed for bespoke gowns for this year unless you have already been in touch. 2 0 2 4 // CHRISTMAS /// in the morning I will sit with a cup of tea with my husband and watch our three beautiful children playing, opening gifts and being together. That is the greatest gift I have been given. Love is everything… to love and be loved. I’m reminded this year that life is so short and unpredictable and to saviour each day with loved ones. And that is exactly what I will do. Sending so much love to all my clients… past, celebrating their first Christmas as husband and wife and the present who are celebrating as finances for the last time! It’s magical and i hope you have a wonderful day whatever you are all doing. Just feel love and you’ll have it all. Love me and mine x x x

W H A T D O Y O U D O ? // I get asked a lot, what do you do? For those who don’t know me, I’m Steph from north Lincolnshire and I design and hand make bespoke wedding gowns and more, I am a bridal alterations specialist, and offer a cleaning service too. I love sewing, it’s as simple as that and if I don’t sew everyday I get withdrawals. I also love meeting people and talking to everyone so my “job” is just perfect.
Making people happy makes me happy.

I am wife to my very patient husband Lewis and a full time mummy of 3, our incredible daughter & beautiful Twin boys born earlier this year. I used to be house proud, haha. I’m a huge self professed control freak, I have high functioning anxiety, I’m dyslexic and I’m my worst critic. Ive had a nervous twitch since I was a child which I really hate. I have coeliac disease, dairy intolerant, I can’t have caffeine and booze doesn’t like me much either.

Apart from this Im a positive person, glass half full and love to make people smile and laugh. I love yoga (although the babies don’t give me ‘me’ time yet)
My friends and family mean everything to me, they are my rocks and i believe kindness is the seed to true happiness.

I’ve run my business for nearly 13 years and Last week i was the inaugural winner for Seamstress of the year at The Wedding Industry Awards 2025 🫶🏻 all thanks to my beautiful brides.

W H A T ! ! // “NO WAY!!” 🥂🎉 Last night I brought it home for you all my lovelies …. IM THE WINNER of the inaugural East Midlands Seamstress of the year 2025. The first year of its category with 8 incredible seamstresses as finalists, and there arnt many of us fairies around anymore. The odds were higher for me to have twins again (1 in 6) so I was NOT expecting this. I’m absolutely over the moon, this has been the cherry on top of a very crazy giant gluten and dairy free cake this year … my Stephanie Kate brides have been so supportive during my pregnancy and since the birth of our twins this year and I wouldn’t be SK without you. Huge thankyou to my beautiful friend and bride for nominating me and pushing me for this award, your amazing and your unwavering love and kindness means everything to me. All your votes have brought this home for me and I’m just in awe and gratitude to each one of you who took the time out to vote. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou! 🫶🏻 without you, my rocks who are my family and friends and my patient understanding husband Lewis non of my work would be possible. Aoife is my biggest fan and I can’t wait to show her what mummy got… I think I’ll need to make her one for her playroom! 2024 is drawing to a close and ending so beautifully Thankyou it was so lovely to see you all last night! Now to plan Nationals in London! Lew and I wouldn’t have been able to come if it wasn’t for our two beautiful friends who came and not only put our three beautiful children to bed but blitzed our home, sorted the insane laundry and brought flowers for our table.
