We are looking for an Event Coordinator to join our team and manage the Wedding / Private Event side of the business.
The role would include general administration and the organisation of Events.
The position is part-time with the opportunity to go full time later on.
Experience in this industry would help but is not essential.
Training will be provided.

THE EVENTS INDUSTRY NEEDS SUPPORT TO SURVIVE THE LOCKDOWN❗️

is now at Red Alert to raise awareness of the UK’s 1,000,000 highly skilled industry professionals, all of whom have had no work for the past four months with little likelihood of restarting until Spring 2021.

Our industry includes a huge supply chain ranging from production, audio, lighting and video, to logistics, planning, transportation, and some of the world’s leading technology manufacturers.

Without additional support for the supply chain, the UK is in danger of losing its global position as a world leader in world class events. Moreover, all of our incredible creatives and technicians could lose their livelihoods for good.

We are calling for meaningful support from the Government until the industry is allowed to operate in a way that is not limited by social distancing policies including:

1. Grants – not loans – made available to businesses in the events supply chain

2. Furlough scheme extended until the industry is back to work

3. Extension of the self-employment scheme, tailored towards the industry

So today we are officially back with our first Wedding ceremony since lockdown began.

It’s a start, we can’t wait to get back into the full swing of things and see so many happy faces.

In aid of VE Day we helped out and used our resources to illuminate our local village green in Holyport Maidenhead.

In total we managed to light up 14 houses, 2 pubs and a small monument.

Our company was founded on the following principles: firstly, we endeavour to ensure that our customers receive the best possible customer service, from the initial consultation to the event to the follow up after your event has occurred. We encourage as much customer communication as desired, in order for you to feel wholly reassured about the exact ins and outs of the services that we will be providing for your event. Secondly, DJEvents was formed with a genuine passion for the sectors which make up the event entertainment industry, such as lighting, sound and production. Not only do we currently offer a variety of state of the art equipment, but we are continuously researching and updating our knowledge about the latest upgrades and creative solutions on the market.
