It is here already, DAY 6 of World Celebrant Week….
You may ask why would anyone choose to be a Celebrant?
I didn’t actually choose this path in life; this career chose me…….it was a calling, over six years ago. A deep-down heart led desire to help others!
I met Bill, the wonderful celebrant who conducted my father’s funeral, something clicked, I saw how worthwhile and special a role it is to be there for families at such a time………and the seed was planted!!! Out of grief and tough times comes a rewarding and fulfilling role, which is absolutely ME all over!!
Thank you to Bill!!
I am now living my best life, meeting lovely families and creating and conducting wonderful warm celebratory ceremonies, including weddings in my couples beautiful garden, a dream role!

Wow, so happy to share this fabulous reel of one of my favourite outdoor wedding venues Hadsham Farm Weddings. I love conducting ceremonies here, there are two beautiful areas in which you can have your ceremony- down by the lake or up on the decking overlooking the lake, just wonderful!! Do check it out and of course book a Celebrant, it’s too nice not to have your ceremony here as R&G are in April, I can’t wait!!! Xx

Christmas Ceremony
Happy Christmas!!
And what better way to end the year, I am still smiling two weeks on from this beautiful wedding and family celebration, and singing to myself, oh dear, we ended on a fabulous collective sing along:
On the First Day of Christmas my true love sent to me …
A Partridge in a Pear Tree of course!!
Many happy memories of wonderful ceremonies I have had the great honour to conduct over the last year, this one included, thank you to all the gorgeous couples who chose me, love to everyone, all that remains for me to do is to wish you all lots of happiness and love and of course to stay healthy over the coming days!
One day at a time is my motto, no-one knows what life has in store for us ..…..fingers crossed for some positive news in 2022!!
I love a Christmas proposal, and always include the story in my ceremonies.
If you are dreaming of a warm, bespoke, personalised ceremony like Jo and Dave’s, lovingly created by a Celebrant who is there for you every step of the way, do reach out, I am here for you!
And here we are on the last day of World Celebrant Week….Day 7 …
I hope you have enjoyed finding out more about who I am and Celebrants in general, a Celebrant led ceremony is a fabulous personal alternative to the legal format …relaxed, fun, warm and inclusive, what’s not to like??!💕💕💕
I am always there for my couples and there’s loads of advice I give them, from: ‘wear flat or wedge sandals in fields’, to ‘don’t forget the tissues’, especially if you are writing your own vows !!💕💕💕
That aside the main piece of advice I always give is to relax and enjoy EVERY moment, I am here for you every step of the way, let’s have fun, smile and laugh – it’s your big day and it will go very fast, believe me!! 💕💕💕
I love my role and I want you to love and enjoy your ceremony!!💕💕💕

I met Bill, the wonderful celebrant who conducted my father’s funeral a few years ago now, something clicked, I saw how worthwhile and special a role it is to be there for families at such a time………and the seed was planted!!! P.S. It wasn’t all plain sailing, it took another few years and lots of courage to say goodbye to the corporate world and pursue my dreams, retrain, run my own business, network, master social media…but ……
WOW, it has all been so worthwhile, not only do I support families through the toughest times, I also help couples celebrate the most joyous times, which has been just as emotional over the last 12 months!!
Thank you to Bill!!

DAY 5 of World Celebrant Week….
I love networking, when we can, and building relationships with my lovely Celebrant colleagues, they are truly supportive and kind!!
I find inspiration from many of them, but the one who inspires me most has to be my friend and colleague Pippa Ward, she is truly amazing with a kind generous heart and a super smile!! Uber professional, lots of hints and tips and great advice!!!
Always supportive and kind, she helped me keep smiling and going through the tough times, a positive beacon of Celebrant specialness, thank you Pippa!!

So, it is DAY 3 of World Celebrant Week….
And I have to choose my favourite testimonial and gosh I have received so many gorgeous ones, especially over the last few months…..but this one has to be the most touching and descriptive, I only knew Jas and Nisha for a relatively short time but it seems they had me sussed!!💕💕💕
“We chose Lauren to be the celebrant for our wedding day and what a fantastic choice it was. It was by chance that I stumbled upon her website but as soon as I did, I knew she would be perfect for us! 💕💕💕
Lauren worked with us as a couple to best understand our story and put together a beautiful ceremony, one that was very moving and emotional for all. 💕💕💕
Lauren was always on hand if we needed anything, provided great support and suggestions and was just an all-round beautiful person that oozed positivity! 💕💕💕
Lauren, thank you so much for making our big day so special! Both Jas and I greatly appreciate everything you did for us!###”
Wowsers, I was totally blown away by this review, it still makes me smile, what a fabulous ceremony and day it was @DallasBurtsonPolo Club, have you been??? It’s amazingl !!

DAY 4 of World Celebrant Week….
How can you choose ONE favourite ceremony …..?????
Now I am having to choose it has to be Alex and Josh’s ceremony @EnchantedWoodland Wedding, deep in the woods!!
I walked down into the ceremony space on my own to set up and knew then that it would be special, and it was……you don’t need any décor or extras in the wood just yourselves and your nearest and dearest, the sound of birds and the leaves rustling in the slight breeze was amazing!
The atmosphere was pure magic, helped by the fact that as a couple they oozed love and romance…..the whole ceremony sent shivers down my spine.. it was relaxed, romantic, and personal, with their own vows.
The ceremony culminated with a meaningful hand tying ceremony, each colour ribbon chosen for a reason, and the very personal messages being whispered to the couple as their guests came up to place the ribbons were magical….I could see how much this meant to them both!!
If you would like to know more do visit my website soon, I have persuaded Alex to let me Blog about their special day, advice and tips on how to have a wonderful Woodland wedding!

DAY 2 of the wonderful World Celebrant Week
There are of course a million fabulous reasons why you should choose a Celebrant…but I will try to reduce them to three….here goes …
ONE – we create beautiful, warm, personal ceremonies which are all about YOU!!!
My couple last Friday sent me this text: ‘Everyone said it was the nicest ceremony and it really was ‘Us’ ###
TWO – we get to know you as a couple, lots of coffee and cake, well I do!!
I work closely with you, to create that personal ‘feel’ so your ceremony is totally bespoke and unique to you!!
It will be my smiley face at the end of the aisle, totally relaxed and informal!!!
(No unknown registrar in a dark suit!!)
I will be the one in a super, probably new dress, to match your theme/colours!!
THREE – there are NO restrictions on location, content, timing, I only ever officiate at one ceremony a day, so yours for the whole day, lucky you!!
You can have your ceremony anywhere you choose – in the open air in a field, on a beach, in a woodland – my favourite!!!!
The choices are infinite when you choose a Celebrant, we are an amazing and supportive bunch of professional people who will do our utmost to make your day super Special!!
