A perfect day for my gorgeous couple, who literally ‘Tied the Knot’ under a beautiful cedar tree, outdoors as they wished for - we all manifested to ensure the sun shone - on their meeting anniversary !

Andrew was assisted beautifully by his brother Will, while friends and family chose the coloured ribbons and placed them over the couples hands, with loads of love and special wishes - very moving! ❤️
The stars of the show were Luna and Nev, the family brown labs who delivered the rings, so well behaved!

It was wonderful to bump into again, the flowers were simply stunning and gosh how beautiful was the bride - such a stunning dress , she looked gorgeous!

Thanks to for being so welcoming, a fabulous venue, hope to see you again soon, and of course thank you to Andrew and Charlotte for choosing me, it’s really not work when you meet such nice people !!

And here we were today at this gorgeous venue , how gorgeous is this staircase, and how stunning does the chapel look all set up for today’s ceremony?

My lovely couple were looking for a blended ceremony, a mix of both their cultures and heritage, bringing together all their family and friends to celebrate their love!!

The display on the floor is a spread or Sofreh Aghd, items of which were included within our ceremony, can you see the sugar cones and honey - I will have to write a blog, to explain all, it was absolutely lovely!

The music was key again today with traditional songs played by the fab for the bride, everyone loved it!

Thanks to the wonderful team always a pleasure to work with, and to my couple for choosing me, such an honour, a wedding ceremony which only an Independent Celebrant can conduct!

A busy few days this weekend, first up a wonderful ceremony for the gorgeous S&S, wow do they know how to organise a party, so many lovely detailed touches, I loved every moment !!

Music was the star of the show in terms of the ceremony, with every one of the 7 songs chosen with care and love!! A beautiful journey through their relationship, very moving!

A rehearsal the week before was invaluable, ensuring a warm relaxed ceremony on the day, and one where hopefully I don’t appear on too many of the photos - I always dive out of the way for key moments!!!

How gorgeous is this set up at the Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa on Saturday??
One of my fave venues, three visits this year!!

It was very warm and dry, just right for P&J along with their guests!

They chose the celebrant option for their special day as they were looking for a relaxed informal ceremony, which could include religious readings - as well as snippets of their love story !

They even found time to send this lovely mail before they disappeared on honeymoon..

It was fabulous to be back at this stunning venue today in the sunshine!!

A warm personal ceremony for A&L, celebrating love second time around with all their family and friends. They met at the hospice where both their partners passed, they know how lucky they are to find love again, so very moving! ❤️
I loved telling their story, many laughs and love in the room for this gorgeous couple!

Thank you to them for choosing me, such an honour and thank you to the team at Nailcote, always welcoming and professional!!

So lucky to have found my calling in life, what’s not to like?? - meeting wonderful people like A&L, spreading joy and love, as well as wearing my lovely dresses, of which there are many now!!! 😅💕

The second of my lovely weddings this week, a fabulous day for S&B on the family farm, which looks absolutely stunning, don’t you think?

There are many reasons why my couples choose a Celebrant ceremony for Sammie it was all about having the ceremony at a place which means the world to her!

It was a relaxed vibe with plenty of humour, oh and audience participation, some planned and a few improvisations, as a family they all love their Am Dram, I was warned !

A fabulous day, so lovely to meet new wedding supplier colleagues, especially , who was doing a wonderful job of organising us all !

A wonderful wedding blessing ceremony in the sunshine for K&T today at this fab venue !
Just over the border in Northants, a hidden gem !! 💕

A beautiful day which included a catch up with lovely past clients and wedding colleague suppliers, Emily’s Canine Crew was doing a fab job with Zeus the miniature schnauzer !! 👍🏻

My first ‘Summer’ wedding of the year at the beautiful venue which is Wethele manor, gorgeous grounds and a lovely team, such a pleasure to conduct a ceremony here, and it’s just ten minutes from my house !!

I also met the very lovely Emma from EJ Weddings & Events, for the first time, doing a fab job of co-ordinating all that was going on!!

P&J chose me because they wanted a laid back, chilled day, with a dash of humour thrown in!!
There were tears, of joy, and lots of smiles, oh and we had some guest participation!

A great way to start a busy few months !! 💕

I was over the moon to receive this fabulous review today, so lovely when couples leave such kind words !

I have always said I am a warm down to earth northern person, no airs and graces here, just laid back with lots of smiles, giving joy to others and making their day is so rewarding!

I am so glad Hayley and Phil found me, a gorgeous family ooozing love and happiness ! Thanks to them for the super words, made my day/week!

I think I may have to republish my blog on vow renewals, a wonderful way to celebrate with loved ones and family !

A stunning set up at a beautiful hotel today for the lovely Philip and Hayley!

They first contacted me around two years ago to conduct their vow renewal, they married on Valentines Day ten years ago, just the two of them and two witnesses - ten years on and two gorgeous children later they wanted to celebrate their relationship with family and friends -and exchange wedding rings, they hadn’t worn any until today !

We created a lovely, very personalised intimate ceremony, with new vows reflecting their enduring and ongoing love for each other ! 💕

Thanks to the lovely hotel team, who provided delicious coffee and , great to meet you !!

An emotional day full of love and happiness !! 💕💕💕

Happy Valentine’s Day to all my lovely couples and followers!! 💕💕💕

A day of love, maybe chocolates and flowers, and of course we all need some poetry to convey our feelings …I have been recommending a few beautiful readings and poems when meeting with my couples over the last few weeks …

I love choosing readings, this has to be one of my all time favourites, chosen for the gorgeous Emma and Dave, it is You are The Bubbles by Rachel Bright – below is an excerpt, look it up it is so lovely….

A Celebrant ceremony allows you to have as many readings or poems of your choice as you wish and can provide a magical moment in the ceremony, either read by me, friend or relative, you get to choose!

Happy February everyone, a few days late!!

And what a busy month and romantic month it is, next week it’s Pancake Day and then Valentine’s Day soon and of course it is a Leap Year, so if you have your sights set on someone special, get planning!

I have a very special ceremony this month, for a gorgeous couple, who married on Valentine’s Day ten years ago, wow, how romantic!!
Due to circumstances, they couldn’t celebrate as they wished at the time so we have created the ceremony of their dreams, new rings, children involved, all their family and friends, I can’t wait!

H&P found me via a directory and then we met in person not long after at a wedding fair, sometimes you just click with people and know you will be a good match !
